Mine Blast Leaves Nine People Dead in Baghlan

PUL-E-KHUMRI CITY (BNA) Nine people lost their lives following mine blast in northern Baghlan province yesterday.
According to BNA report, 9 people close to Mahbubullah Ghafari, a former member of the provincial council of Baghlan were killed, while their convey hit on a roadside mine planted by Taliban fighters in Chashma Shir region, Baghlan-Samangan highway.
Mahbubullah Ghafari was moving toward Samangan province from Baghlan, Ghafari was unhurt in the blast.
Abdullah Malang spokesman of public health department of Baghlan told BNA correspondent, nine bodies have been transferred to provincial hospital of the province.
Neither ISIS nor Taliban has commented regarding the incident so far.
