Taliban Insurgents Killed in Farah Clash

Farah (BNA) Six Taliban insurgents were killed in a clash by security forces in Farah last night.
The Taliban were killed in a series of shootings last night when they attacked a convoy carrying troops on a public road in Bala Block district.
The media office of Zafar Army Corps in west of the country said in a newsletter that six armed Taliban were killed in the battle.
According to another report, an armed Taliban member was killed in a roadside bomb blast.
The armed Taliban wanted to detonate a mine on the outskirts of Farah, but the mine exploded and killed him.
Taliban mostly planted bombs and mines on busy roads of the province, which victimized innocent civilians.
