Heavy Casualties Inflects To Taliban In Laghman

Mehtarlam (BNA) Eight armed Taliban rebels including a commander of them were killed in clash by Afghan forces in Laghman province yesterday. 
This event happened in the suburb of Mehtarlam city when a group of armed Taliban attacked on a caravan of police in Laghman province. 
Fazel Ahmad Shirzad police in charge of Laghman said to BNA, in this clash 8 armed Taliban including a commander of them were killed. 
According to Shirzad, in the heavy clash, 10 other armed Taliban and two policemen were wounded.  
Police in charge of Laghman confirmed that in this event, father of Mullah Almas a senior commander of Taliban has been arrested. 
It is said, this militia has been arrested while firing on Afghan forces. 
Attack of armed Taliban on police in charge of Laghman took place when he assessed surrounding areas of Mehterlam city for elevating security posts in that province.
