6 Taliban killed, 10 arrested

Kabul (BNA) six armed Taliban were killed during several operations carried out by Afghan security forces in some provinces of the country.
Interior ministry press office said BNA, the Afghan Security Forces in last 24 hours conducted cleansing operations in the outskirts of Nangarhar, Baghlan, Balkh, Zabul, Urozgan, Logar, Ghazni and Paktika province in which, six armed Taliban were killed, a talib wounded and 10 others arrested.
It is being said that 12 anti-vehicle mines, 3 Kalashnikovs, 2 pistols, other military equipment and a motorbike were seized.
According to another report, the national police personnel discovered and evocated 7 anti-vehicle mines which were placed by armed insurgents in the outskirts of Paktia and Kandahar provinces.
