29 armed Taliban killed and 45 arrested

Kabul (BNA) a press source of interior ministry said, Afghan security forces in last 24 hours launched several cleansing operations in different parts of the country and killed 29 Taliban.

Interior ministry press office said BNA, the Afghan and coalition forces  conducted cleansing operations in the relevant areas of Baghlan, Kapisa, Badakhshan, Sar-e-Pul, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Ghazni, Paktia and Helmand provinces as a result  of which 29 Taliban were killed 8 wounded and 45 others arrested , quantity of ammunition and explosives were seized.

Also, the national police forces discovered and defused 5 anti-vehicle mines from Zabul and Farah provinces.

According to another report, the national police forces of Kabul arrested 4 persons accused of killing, rubbery from 3rd and 15th districts.
