Large Areas Cleaned From Existence of Armed Rebels

Kabul (BNA) During a military operation in Paktia province dozens of sites cleaned from existence of terrorists.
The operations were started on Wednesday last week, in which 25 people killed linked to armed Taliban and Haqqani’s network.
On the other hand local officials reported from arresting six rebels in the operation.
The military operation launched under the name of Nejat (savor)  with participations of Hundreds of national army forces in different parts of Yahya Khail, Yousuf Khail, Khoshmand, Jani Khail, Khair Koot and Sharan city capital of Paktia province.
Colonel Mohammad Sharif the commander of national army forces in eastern province of Paktia said BNA, since three days the operation is continuing, so far 25 people linked to Taliban and Haqqani’s network killed and six others were arrested.
The main target of the operation was to destroy the hideouts of the terrorist groups and bringing security and peace.
He added, so far the military succeed to clean large areas.
It is said armed Taliban by planting mine in crowded roads created a big threat for people, but national army forces officials in Paktia said during the operation so far dozens of planted mines discovered and defused.
Six weapons and several narcotic caches of Haqqani’s network have been seized in the operation.
Local officials say, so far there are no casualties among the security forces.
