Kabul (BNA) Herat traffic police director accused of corruption has been detained by the police, said an official.
Herat police have accused provincial director of traffic police of corruption and bribery resulting in his detention the other day.
According to Delawar Shah Delawar, provincial director of security in Herat, the detainee has been submitted to relevant organs for further judicial investigation.
It is expected that his case is to be followed very soon.
The arrest was implemented after Afghan ministry of interior started its reviews in provincial directorate of traffic police in Herat.
A delegation from the ministry of interior (MoI) has recently traveled to Herat province to launch investigation in to the case.
