Thirteen Insurgents Kill in Nuristan

Kabul (BNA): In the recent clashes 13 armed oppositions were killed and four others wounded in Nuristan province.
The incident occurred late the day before yesterday in Kunar-Nuristan highway while a group of armed Taliban attacked on a patrol of Afghan security forces.
Deputy police chief operating of Nuristan told BNA, in the one hour clashes 13 armed oppositions including a local commander of them were killed and at least four others wounded.
He said there were no casualties among civilians and security forces in the incident.
The incident occurred in this area that one week ago Afghan security forces have been launched an operation on terrorist groups.
Afghan authorities announced that Kunar-Nuristan highway since the years cleared from the existence of armed opposition groups.
