Kabul (BNA) Prof. Sebghatullah Mujadidi has declared his resignation from all government responsibilities including the independent commission of solution of disputes and people’s relation with government. 
Membership of the senate and high peace council and the text of the resignation were sent to the Presidential Office. 
It is said that he resigned due to difference of views between Mujadidi and President Karzai. 
So far the resignation has not been accepted.

Young Girl Martyred In Kabul

Kabul (BNA) Kabul Police started searching to arrest a man who killed a young girl in Janglak area of Kabul city five days back and escaped. 
General Mohammad Zahir Zahir criminal head of Kabul Security Commandment said to BNA, a young boy injured two sisters by strike of knife in Jangalak area of Kabul city on 9th of Hamal of the current year while one of them lost her life due to severe injuries in the hospital. 
Investigations showed that the girl was injured when she rejected wedding with the boy (murderer). The sister of the martyred girl got injures while she was defending her sister.
In other report, General Zahir said that police arrested a murderer suspect from 12th district of Kabul city.
The suspect killed a person who was responsible of a mosque on 28th of Hoot of 1390. 
It is said that the arrested man wanted to rube furnishing of the mosque, which faced with the resistance of the responsible and was killed by the rubber.

Panjshir (BNA) Approximately, 100 Jeribs of agricultural lands and 50 residential houses were slightly destroyed due to heavy flood in Panjsheer province.  
These floods were dived since Friday till now in Khanj, Abshar, Paryan districts and still continuing which has no human casualties.

Kabul (BNA) The athletes of the country could gain over 300 medals in different sports fields from the international tournaments during the last one year, an official said the other day. 
Most sportspersons of the country could win first and second positions in the international sport competitions last year (1390) and receive more than 300 medals, said, head of Afghanistan National Olympic Committee, Mohammad Zaher Aghbar as quoted by BNA reporter, Najiba Zuhab. 
The sportspersons of our country, could win medals in different fields such as football, volleyball, basketball, water polo, cricket, taekwondo boxing Judo, athletics, weightlifting, gymnastic etc, Aghbar said with pleasure. 
“In the last year, we could strengthen our relations with other countries sports foundations, a decision would highly help us exchange experiences and meanwhile we signed many memorandum of cooperation with the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS), Kabul Municipality, ministries of education, defense and interior, National Directorate for Security (NDS) and other foundations”, he added. 
According to him, the medal winners of the country had materially and spiritually been praised, particularly with cash trophies by presidential office, on Monday, Hamal 7 this year. 
Ten sport stadiums were expected to constructed in the country last year, a number of them had been completed and work on a number of them were due to be completed this year, Aghbar said.
Any provinces should enjoy a sport complex with the capacity of over 18,000 people, he said adding that the national Olympic committee would provide the best exercise facilities and living condition for those who are planned to attend other international tournaments, Aghbar added reporting Nesar Ahmad Bahawi and Sadaf Rahimi who were expected to attend in the 2012 London international Olympiad had enjoyed special facilities of the committee. 
The sportspersons of the country are only working for their country unless to be linked to any ethnic, tribe or language, and they are being praised only based on their talents, he concluded.

Weapon Cache Discovered In Maidan Wardak

Maidan-Wardak (BNA) Afghan and NATO-led security forces during a combined operation in Nirkh district of Maidan Wardak discovered a weapon cache of Taliban militants last night. 
Containing arms and ammunitions, the militants had used the explosive devices in making roadside bombs and targeting security forces. 
The combined forces during another operation in Sarband area of Jaghto district had killed an armed Taliban Mullah Obidullah last night. 
Mullah Obidullah was involved in organizing terrorist activities.

Paktia (BNA) Reports indicate that during the national army military operations in Paktika thirty three insurgents were killed. 
General Zemarai commander of 203 Thunder army corps of Paktika said that the operation had started in the beginning of New Year 1391 along with other Afghan forces that ended yesterday. 
According to him, 33 armed Taliban were killed in different districts of the province and five others were arrested and a considerable quantity of different types of arms was seized from them. 
Among those killed were many Pakistanis who while crossing the Durand Line were targeted and killed. 
General Zemarai added that the national army also foiled 13 mines and no civilians were harmed during the operation and that the operation was supported by the air forces of the international forces.

Graduation Certificates Distributed

Kabul (BNA) The Minister of Labor, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled distributed certificates to the graduates of Azadi training center yesterday. 
In this round 114 youth (boys and girls) affiliated with the government orphanage in center and provinces have been trained in this center learning and got skills in computer, Algebra,  arithmetic, trigonometry spheres.
In the ceremony held to this end Amena Afzal called the training to the youth as a step towards knowledge in the country. 
She added that her ministry is striving hard to prepare grounds for the children orphanages of the country so that they better learn knowledge and become sound members of the Afghan society. 
She stressed that during the past year, 900 youth of orphanages were graduated from this center. 
She asked those having remained without results in the entrance exams to refer to the crafts training center and select their craft of choice and continued their training in this center.

Taliban Military In-charge Detained

Maidan-Wardak (BNA) Afghan and NATO-led security forces during a combined operation in Maidan Wardak province captured Taliban military in charge namely Mullah Saiful Rahman along with two of these armed men from Sayedabad district last night. 
The arrested commander had organized dozens of terrorist activities against Afghan and NATO-led forces and was the in charge of creating security problems on Kabul-Kandahar highway.

Kabul (BNA) First vice-president Marshal Mohammad Qaseem Fahim in his farewell meeting yesterday with the British ambassador to Afghanistan William Patti praised his services during his mission to Afghanistan. 
During the meeting Marshal Fahim called British assistance to the people of Afghanistan as outstanding and considered to role of Britain as a strategic friendly country of Afghanistan as important in reconstruction and in shaping the national army and national police and expressed the hope that this role to be continued. 
The British outgoing ambassador to Afghanistan whose term of office has completed here emphasized on his country’s commitment towards Afghanistan and added that his country will remain in Afghanistan till the threat of terrorism in Afghanistan is eliminated. 
He added that we shall remain on the side of the people of Afghanistan after 2014 as well and we shall continue training and equipping of the national army and the national police of Afghanistan.

Kabul (BNA) The House of People yesterday with Abdul Zahir the first deputy of the house on the chair discussed the 1391 fiscal year budget yesterday. 
In the debate, Amir Khan Yar the head of the financial commission briefed the House about the change has been brought in the budget by the Finance Ministry adding 2 million US dollars have been added to the development budget and said one million US dollars has been allocated in building mosques, another one million allocated in building health clinics, hospitals for addicts and another half million US dollars for construction of club for disabled people. 
Moreover, the lawmakers also discussed the soaring gas and fuel price, dying more than 200 people due to natural disaster including avalanche over the past two months, the problems of students in the university entry test in 1390 and failure of huge number of students to find their way to universities, administrative corruption, security problems, night raid operations in Helmand and the proposed signing of the strategic partnership with the United States of America. 
It was also stressed that humanitarian assistance to the avalanche affected people should not be politicized.
