Bamyan (BNA) The construction work of five utility projects were completed in Bamyan province today.
These projects were completed with assistance of UNDP in Bamyan province which included asphalting of one and half meter subway, gravelling of pavement and other projects. 
The works of these projects have been completed by Bamyan municipality within one year. 
These projects cost 9,000 dollars and funded by UNDP.   Translated By Suraya-Yarzada

Kabul (BNA) The in charges of the national committee on disaster preparedness answered the questions of the members of the House of People on advanced measures for winter and to cope with the recent drought in the country. 
The deputies also resized the issue of food price rise especially the hike in price of gas and fuel products, non-distribution of improved wheat seeds to farmers, closure of transport ways, lack of schools, roads, health clinics in different regions, non-reaching of food items, non-distribution of primary food items to the needy, delivering of hydro-power projects to second hand contractors for attaining of benefits, non-availability of retaining walls on banks of rivers and this way affecting agricultural land and tens of other issues were taken up by the deputies.

Kabul (BNA) Mishrano Jirga of Afghan national assembly is congratulating the 3rd December, World Disabled Day, to Afghan disabled of the country. 
Mishrano Jirga considered the disabled as those heroes, patriots and pious who have sacrificed for religion, country and protection of national integrity and their presence today amongst our nation is the sign of their bravery and patriotism. 
Mishrano Jirga believes that our pious people have kept them in their hearts in the light of Mohammadi Sharia and cultural values and have tried their best to fulfill their spiritual and objective needs.  
On the occasion of the 3rd December, world disabled day, Mishrano Jirga once again is expressing its sympathy and coordination with Afghan disabled and emphasized that relevant government organs should pay consideration for solution of their problems with which Afghan disabled are facing. 
The relevant organs should find employment; deliver health services and self-sufficiency facilities for the Afghan disabled.

Kabul (BNA) Hamid Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan met with Shiah ulema (Shiite religious scholars) including a number of members for Afghanistan Ulema Council here in Kabul. 
In the meeting, which was held Thursday afternoon at presidential palace, Mawlavi Ghafari, representing the others, spoke about better commemorating of Mahram-ul-Haram month and said, “A guide that instructs discipline, better coordination and strengthening of Islamic brotherhood has been provided by Afghan Shiah Ulema council for better commemorating of the day of Muharam. 
Representatives for the Shah ulemas expressed their happiness that Ashura has been commemorated in good security in the past few years in the country. 
They asked the president to instruct the Afghan security organs in order that they tighten security during the Ashura day in the country. 
Meanwhile, the ulemas asked all audio and video media to broadcast Islamic programs during the commemoration of Ashura. 
After hearing the suggestions, president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan said, “The main reason of better holding of the ceremonies in the country during this month is unity amongst Afghan people; while the other reason is this that this big religious day isn’t politically and religiously considered. 
The president instructed the ulemas to cooperate with security organs in order that the ceremonies are held in better security in the country. 
It is worth mentioning that for necessary security measures, a commission led by minister of interior has been formed and its members are a number of Afghan ministries of defense, national directorate of security and Afghan ulemas. 
The commission is tasked to take necessary measures for better holding Ahura ceremonies in the country.
