Taliqand (BNA) Five persons were lost their lives due to coal gas in Takhar province yesterday night. 
Habibullah Rostaqi head of Takhar provincial hospital said to BNA.
This even happened in the Pul Kalan area in the west of Taliqan city.

Kabul (BNA) Praying ceremonies were held in Kabul, Kandahar and Mazar-e-Sharif for praying to soul of martyrs of the deadly incident of the tenth Ashura in a number of Afghan mosques. 
The ceremonies were held in center and provinces through Afghan ministry of Hajj and Endowment with the instruction of president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. 
The ceremonies were attended by a number of government officials, representatives of people in parliament, relatives and colleagues of the martyred and prayed for the souls of those martyred in the deadly incident occurred on the day of Ashura. 
The ceremonies were held in various parts of Kabul in a number of mosques as Jafaria, Mohammadia, Kart-e-Sakhi, Shir Shah Souri, Poly Technic, Itifaq, Al-Zhura and Khatem-ul-Anbia, Hussiania and Imam Zaman. 
The ceremonies were also held in a number of mosques in Kandahar as Maraston, Mir Hadad and Akhond Sahib. 
Such ceremonies were also held in a number of mosques in Mazar-e-Sharif, capital city of Balkh.

Kabul (BNA) Representing the Second Vice President Mohammad Karim Khalili, head, social affairs advisor and the members of the office of second vice president visited Thursday afternoon the injuries of the incident of Aashura-e-Hussaini in Emergency, Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan, Child Health, Avicenna Emergency, Chest and Noor hospitals. 
During this visit, the head of second vice president office Dr. Abbas Baseer due to conveying the condolence and sympathy message of second vice president Mohammad Karim Khalili to the injured people of this mournful terrorist incident, the message asked immediate recovery from the court of Almighty Allah for them. 
He also distributed some cash on behalf of second vice president to the injured people.

Kabul (BNA) Foodstuffs and winter clothes were distributed for 1000 poor families in Logar province. 
Spokesperson for Logar governor said that this assistance included wheat, ghee and winter cloths which were assisted by refugees and returnee’s office and UNHCR regional offices were distributed for returnees refugees of Qala-e-Wazir, Charkh district and center of Logar province. 
He said it is due that this assistance will be distributed for other 8,000 poor families in center and six districts of Logar province as well. Transalated by Suraya-Yarzada
