Kabul (BNA) Qasim Rahrawan, a cultural figure of the country passed away yesterday.
The late Rahrawan who had served with media in different capacity including head of cultural departments of Takhar and Faryab provinces and association with Anis newspaper and Radio Afghanistan until his retirement five years ago.
In his condolence message Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen minister of information and culture expressed sympathy with the family, friends and relatives of the late Rahrawan and wished eternal peace for his departed soul.

Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai has condoled over the demise of Mohammad Hashim Samim the deputy to Independent Elections Commission (IED). 
In the condolence message sent yesterday, the president also described late Samim’s death as a loss and expressed sympathy with the family, friends and all the staff of IED.
According to another report, the president also expressed sympathy over the demise of Al-Hajj Sayed Mohammad Iqbal, a former senator and elder of Samangan province who passed away yesterday. 
In the condolence message, the president besides wishing great patience to the family and friends of late Iqbal also prayed may Almighty Allah rest his departed soul to the eternal peace.

Kabul (BNA) The message notes that we were informed with regret that Alhaj Wakil Mir Mohammad Osman an influential personality of Parwan province has died may his soul rest in peace.
Late Wakil Mir Mohammad Osman has been an influential person within his society and he was representative of the Parwan people at the 13th term of National Assembly wherein he served his people with honesty.
His death is a loss.
While expressing my deep sympathy to his sons Eng. Izrar Ahmad Muqbel Counter-narcotics Minister and Mohammad Sedeeq Osmani people’s deputy at the National Assembly and his other family members and the people of Parwan province, pray peace for his soul and patience for his family members.

Maidan-Wardak (BNA) assistance took place for 50 deserved families in recent explosion in the Sayeedabad district of Maidan-Wardak province.  Mohammad Islam Hosaini head of work and social affairs of Maidan-Wardak said to BNA, this assistance consists of foodstuffs and kitchenware assisted by UNDP office.  According to Hosaini, this assistance disseminated in presence of delegation to deserved families in that province.
