Sheberghan (BNA) The Ghachri road village to Qazlayaq of Khwajadokoh district of Jouzjan province after asphalting came under utilization. 
This road has 13 km length and 3 and half km wide connected 8 villages of Khwajadokoh district with the center of that district. 
Abdul Razaq Qaderi governor of Khwajadokoh district said to BNA, the mentioned road has been asphalted by high peace council program of the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Ministry at the cost of more than Afghanis 15 million. 
According to the source, with implementation of this project, the transportation problems of 8 villagiges were tackled.

Kabul (BNA) The Independent Human Rights Commission (IHRC) calls violence against women a matter of concern.
Soraya Sobhrang commissioner for support and development of women rights at the IHRC says that in the first six months of current year around 4500 instances of violence has been recorded at the IHRC compared to last year that is a matter of concern.
As per the released data the number of violence reached around 4,000 last year and the activists of the civil society and women rights attribute this in non-implementation of the law on prevention of violence.
Soraya Parlika and activist of women rights said that inattention of the government towards prevention of violence against the women and the unpunished activities of the powerful has become a habit within the society.
She added that unawareness of people of civil and Sharia rights of women are another factor for violence against the women while publicity of the religious Ulama in this respect can prove effective.
Lutfullah Jaqparat lecturer at the Islamic Culture Department of Education University attributes unawareness of the people of the Sharia Orders for increased violence against the women in the society.
He considers the role of the religious Ulama as instrumental in reduction of violence against women and added that the ministry of hajj and endowment in cooperation with the civil society as well the media can play an outstanding role in this direction.
Fauzai Ameni head of the rights department of women affairs ministry calls the published figures as incorrect, adding that the level of awareness has improved among the people.
She added that violence is taking place in the country but no precise figures are at hand in this respect and may be the figure far exceeds which are not mostly revealed but we have some measures that would hopefully reduce the level of violence against the women in the country.

Kabul (BNA) The unplanned development, digging wells, poor standard urbanization in Kabul city and increasing populations have bodily damaged the underground waters. 
If the trend continues unchecked, Kabul would face severe underground water shortage in future possibly the next five years, the ministry for water and power has warned. 
The deputy for the ministry of water and power, Shujadin Ziae in an interview has warned that Kabul city would also face environmental challenge. 
It is estimated that Kabul’s underground water is some 32 million cubic meters which is enough for I million people, while for the 5 million residents of Kabul, we need 150 million cubic meters. 
Ziae also added that with building Shahtat water dam in Kabul the water scarcity will be solved as it can provide water to 9 million people, adding the Shahtot dam will be completed within the next five years. 
Another dam is building Gulbahar dam which is currently under consideration and will be possibly built in 10 years. 
Digging deep wells up to 50 meters or 100 meters deep will cause water shortage in the city, he added.

Kunduz (BNA) Four civilians were wounded when a private corolla car struck with ISAF caravan in Baghlan-Kunduz highway. 
The head of traffic events of Kunduz said to BNA, this event occurred in the Gerdab area, Baghlan province when a private corolla car struck with ISAF caravan. 
According to him, in this event 4 passengers of Corolla car were wounded.  Lt. Yorgon in charge of ISAF press in Kunduz said that the corolla car overturns from the area, and struck with a car of them. 
In this event, three civilians including of driver of corolla car were wounded and shifted to hospital. 
The source said other passengers of corolla car was seriously wounded and has been transferred by ISAF copter to ISAF hospital.
