Kabul (BNA) With deep sorrow, I was informed that an officer of ANA General Abdul Majid Ilyasi has passed away due to illness. 
Abdul Majid Alyasi was one of the servants of armed forces of the country. 
His death is a big loss. I offer my condolences and sympathies to his family, friends and people of Faryab and wish him pardon and patience to his family.

Kabul (BNA) With construction of a road Nooristan will be connected with Laghman province soon, said Nooristan officials. 
They said that work for construction of a road which links western areas and central of Nooristan, started with cooperation of hundreds residents of Nooristan districts and these roads will be constructed within two months. 
Tamim Nooristani governor of Nooristan said to BNA, ensuring peace for people who work voluntarily for construction of road is the priorities and for this purpose, security posts were established in different areas.
Governor of Nooristan said , currently 1500 youths from districts  of that province started voluntarily work for construction of roads in the Damah, Taten, Kordro and Noorgeram areas of that province to link western districts with Pasroon city, center of Nooristan province. 
According to him, the work of these roads will be completed within two next months.  Translated by Suraya-Yarzada

Kandahar (BNA) Omar Zakhelwal the Afghan Minister of Finance imposed a ban on importation of vehicles made before 2002 to the country, official said on Sunday.
Zakhelwal said, traders should not try to import vehicles more than 10 years old because the Finance Minister had stopped the process of customs duty on such vehicles.
The public health ministry authorities also imposed the ban of such vehicles in light of Public Health.
The old model vehicles due to their low quality cause air pollution and traffic problems, the traffic department head, Gen. Nooruddin Hamdart, said.

Kabul (BNA) The government authorities visited Mrs. Sehar Gul yesterday at Sardar Mohammad Daud hospital. 
She tortured by her husband in Baghlan very much. 
Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Martyrdom and Crippled Mrs. Amena Afzali Acting Public Health Minister Dr. Suraya Daleel, Acting Women Affairs Minister Husson Banu Ghazanfar and a number of parliament members while visiting Mrs. Sehar Gul representing the government, they pledged that the culprits would be punished soon. 
Mrs. Sehar Gul 15. After six months torture and sustaining pains and sufferings was rescued by police four days back in Baghlan. 
Mrs. Sehar Gul said that she tortured for six months because, she didn’t respond to the demands of her husband and mother-in-law for ostentation. 
It is said that her husband and mother-in-law imprisoned her in a cold and dark bathroom and tortured her continuously. 
She added that both her husband along with her mother-in-law were tearing her muscle and nails by pliers.
