Saripul (BNA) The devastating flood claimed the lives of 19 people in Sar-i-Pul province yesterday. 
Six persons were injured and 60 others are missing while 10,000 families have been affected, officials said. 
Meantime, the provincial governor Abdu Jabbar Haqbin presided meeting to find the real number of casualties and damage inflicted to the people. 
Head of Sar-i-Pul provincial council Mohammad Arif Sharifi said in addition to loss  lives, hundreds of head cattle were killed and thousands o farms lands were destroyed.
