Herat (BNA) Hundreds Jeribs of agricultural lands destroyed and huge number of residents of this district was damaged due to heavy flood in Kerkh district of Herat province. 
Jahantab Taheri people’s representative of Herat in provincial council have declared from recent floods in the Rod-Qala Sharbat area and requested state related authorities to assist flood affected people in this province. 
According to BNA, at least, 70 families were damaged and tens cars have been destroyed in the recent flood and rains in this province. 
Meanwhile reports say that the representative of people during assessment of flood casualties, adopted measures for collection and humanitarian assistance.
