The Kabul Times Top Journalist ‘Abdul Rahimzai’ Passes Away

Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Daud Abdul Rahimzai, one of The Kabul Times top journalists, died Monday morning due to heart attack at age 57 in Kabul.

The deceased Abdul Rahimzai had worked as a journalist at The Kabul Times for the past 35 years.

In funeral ceremony held yesterday in Qala-e-Kashif of Kabul city, Editor of Chief of The Kabul Times, Hamidullah Arifi spoke and called Daud Abdul Rahimzai as a successful journalist, adding that the deceased had been an experienced journalist who carried out his duty with full honesty, therefore, his works were appreciated.

Meanwhile, leading body of Ministry of Information and Culture and Afghanistan’s High Journalists Council extended condolences over surprised death of Daud Abdul Rahimzai, considered his death as loss to media and wished the deceased paradise and patience to his family and remained.

It is worth mentioning that the deceased praying ceremony will be held today by the deceased family, Ministry of Information and Culture and Afghanistan High Journalists Council at Shir Shah Soori mosque from 13:00- 15:30 in Kabul.
