Kabul (BNA) The body of Sardar Sultan Mahmoud Ghazi was taken in a special ceremony from Sardar Mohammad Daoud Khan Hospital and laid to rest at Maranjan Hills yesterday. 
The funeral ceremony was attuned by his family members, members of the cabinet, some higher ranking government officials and political personnel of the country. 
During the funeral ceremony Mustafa Zahir general director of independent department for protection of environment said that Sardar Sultan Mahmoud Ghazni has been son of Sardar Sepahsalar Sardar Shah Mahmoud Khan Ghazni former prime minister of Afghanistan and uncle of His Majesty Mohammad Zahir Babye Millat. 
Late Sardar Sultan Mahmoud was born in 1305 HS and he has served his country with dedication and devotion.
