China, Kazakhstan and UN’s Aids Arrived To Sar-e-Pul

Sar-e-Pul City (BNA) Packages of foodstuffs and non-foodstuffs from Kazakhstan, China and United Nation have been reached to northern Sar-e-Pul province within the last 2 days.
Abdul Rahman Aimaq head of counter-disaster office told BNA reporter, the assistances will be distributed to formers, those to be affected due to predicated drought in the province.
The arrived aids include 2400 sacks of flour, 35000 cans packed beef, 3000 sacks of rice, 600 tents and blankets, which have been placed in depots of counter-disaster office, Aimaq added.
At the same time, with using government financial facilities 5000 sacks of flour and rice, 2500 cans of cooking oil purchased and saved in the province to distribute for affected families when needed, Aimaq further added.
Based on primary assessments due to predicated drought in next year probably 50000 families will need aid.
