City Improvement Plan Implemented In Kabul Western Distracts

Kabul (BNA) In a session held yesterday with participation of minister of urban development and housing Sayed Mansour Naderi, Kabul mayor Abdullah Habibzai and general director of Afghanistan independent land authority Jawad Paykar and in presence of second vice president Sarwar Danesh, improvement plan of Dasht-e-Barchi was reviewed.
First, Kabul mayor delivered report of development projects being implemented in Kabul’s western parts, stressing on implementation and continuation of the programs in the city’s west parts. He assured of starting the practical work on a road connecting Erfani town to Company road, connecting road of Gulayee Mahtab Qala to Company road and Shaheed Mazari road in coming weeks.
Minister of urban development and housing Sayed Mansour Naderi also informed of big investments for delivering general services in particular access of the respective areas’ residents to drinking water and promised for cooperation in connection with implementation of development programs in the Kabul’s western parts.
General Director of Afghanistan independent land authority Jawad Paykar declared the authority’s readiness for coordination in expropriation affairs and delivering a proper alternative to current properties along the two respective roads.
Praising for efforts made in implementation of city plans in Kabul city by relevant organs, second vice president stressed on acceleration of the process.
Demanded by members of the session, a technical committee with presence of representatives of the respective organs and second vice president office was appointed for creating necessary coordination in acceleration of Kabul municipality’s programs particularly the development programs in Dasht-e-Barchi.
The committee will conduct necessary reviews in connection with specification of proper alternative areas, fair price of properties and creating coordination in this regard.
