Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan that has faced near to three decades of war and conflicts is in dire need of peace to accelerate the momentum of renovation and rehabilitation.
The Afghan nation in the course of history has given many sacrifices for a peaceful, prosperous and stable Afghanistan.
Afghan peace loving nation has always endeavored and emphasized on peaceful and warm relations based on mutual understating with the world nations particularly with its neighbors.
After the toppling of Taliban regime in the country the Afghan government tirelessly made efforts to establish cordial relations based on mutual respect and interest with its neighboring countries of Pakistan and Iran.
For brining the lasting peace to the country the Afghan government in a unique initiative worked on the creation of the High Peace Council (HPC) aiming to invite and negotiate with disgruntled, insurgents and Taliban to join the national mainstream and participate in the rebuilding process of their war battered country.
Peace is considered as the foremost necessity of the nation and to achieve this necessity different concepts ate put forward but two perception are lauded mostly one is that peace should be come from the upper side.
This perception is based on the political solution of the issue and it means that the leaders of armed opposition should end the war through negotiation with international community and Afghan government.
It is a good perception and struggles are also started for its implementation. The high peace council (HPC) is the basic part of this effort.
The great complication is that now only Afghans are not involved in the issue of Afghanistan but the neighboring and other nations of world are also involved in this issue.
If only Afghans were involved then the issue will soon take on turn, whenever the peace process are discussed Pakistan, Iran, NATO and US positions have their impacts directly and indirectly.
The Afghan nation hope with the assistance of international community and neighboring countries peace would be able to send their children to school in a peaceful atmosphere which it would also put positive impacts on economy and development of the country.
