Drinking Water Network Construction Work Completed in Farah

Farah (BNA) A drinking water network was put into operation in Abdolabad village of Farah today.
Farah Governor Taj Mohammad Jahed said at the inauguration of the network, this drinking water network has been completed at a cost of 5 million Afghanis in six months with the financial support of UNICEF and the cooperation of the Farah Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department.
An official of Farah Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department said, the water supply network includes the construction of a storage facility with a capacity of 40 cubic meters of water, installation of a solar pump, house-to-house piping and meter installation, and has provided drinking water to 650 families in Abdolabad village in central Farah.
