Violence Against Women Increases In Farah

Farah (BNA) Farah Provincial Women Affairs Director, Lailuma Sediqi expressed concern over increases in violence against women in the province.
Over the past nine months, around 120 cases of violence against violence have been registered, she said, adding the common violence against women include forced marriage, physical beating, sexual assaults and divorce.
Lailuma Sediqi also counted 21 cases of honor hilling over the past six months in Farah.
She also called on human rights bodies and civil society organizations to help improve women riths in the province ad dispense the case of violence against women.
