Agreement Costing Afs 3.8m Signed

Kabul (BNA) An agreement costing 3.8 million Afs signed Sunday between the ministry of labor, socials affairs, martyrs and disabled and a private company here in Kabul. 

The agreement was signed for implementation of vocational projects in eastern Kunar province. 

After signing the agreement, Amena Afzali, Minister of Labor, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled said nearly 165 unemployed and vulnerable people both men and women are to receive vocational trading in various carpentry, tailoring, repairing generators and mobile sets in Kunar province according to the project. 

She said implementation of such projects in the country is an important step towards providing employment opportunities for unemployed and vulnerable people, adding vocational training can make the Afghan youth depend on themselves and from the other side they are prevented from joining the armed groups. 

Amena further said vocational training has been provided to 80,000 Afghan youth up to now.
