Kandahr (BNA) Fourteen Taliban terrorist group were killed in latest raids of Afghan security forces in Kandahar province.
The air and ground raids carried out on Taliban hideouts in Shahwalikot , Khakriz and Maiwand District, in which six Taliban associated group have been injured and three others were arrested.
Atal ray corps in south of the country with releasing a statement told BNA, the Taliban were suppressed on their hideouts while terrorist and destructive actions.
Two local commanders of Taliban, and three Pakistani insurgents were also among the dead.

Herat (BNA) The police of Herat succeeded to discover a consignment of narcotic drug in Herat province.
According to reports, a man wanted to smuggle 900kg of narcotic drug to unknown place, has been detained in suburb of Oba District, Herat province.
Jelani Farhad spokesman for Herat governor told BNA, the detained smuggler has been injured in a clash by security officials.

ISIS Loyalists Killed in Kunar Air Strike

Asadabad (BNA)  Six ISIS loyalists were killed in an air strike of security troops in Kunar province last night.
The insurgents were targeted while planning destructive activities on their hideout.
Selab army corps in east of the country with releasing a statement said, six ISIS loyalists were killed.
A hideout of the fighters with all war equipment has been demolished, said the statement.
Another report says, police of Kunar discovered and defused ten mines and prevented from a series of explosions.
Security officials of the province blamed Taliban for the planting mines.

Blast Took The Life of Civilian in Herat

Herat (BNA)A civilian was lost his life and the legs of a child cult off in a blast in Herat province.
Security officials blamed Taliban for the event.
According to reports, a mine was planted in a main road of Gulran District and exploded while passing of civilians.
Jelani Farhad spokesman for Herat governor told BNA, a man was lost his life and the legs of a child cut off in the blast,
Taliban mostly planted bombs and mines on crowded ways of the province, which victimized innocent civilians.

School Construction Work Kick Off in Herat

Kabul (BNA) The construction work of a school building kick off in Zendajan District Herat province.
Feraidon Azhand spokesman for rural rehabilitation and development ministry told BNA, the school will have six classrooms, three toilets and a well.
With completion work of the school, the education problems of 300 boys will be tackled.

Kabul (BNA) With completion work of four water wells in Nimroz province, dozens families accessed to potable water.
Feraidon Azhand spokesman of rural rehabilitation and development ministry told BNA, the wells have been  dig in Charborjak district of Nimroz through national citizenship program of rural rehabilitation and development ministry.
About 400,000 Afghanis have been used in construction of the wells, and 60 water supply problems have been eradicated 60 families.

Kabul (BNA)  The national defense ministry with releasing a statement reported from killing of 72 armed oppositions in a clearing operations in various parts of the country.
National defense ministry press office told BNA, the security and defense forces in the last 24 hours conducting 22  clearing operations in Faryab, Herat, Takhar, Zabul, Ghazni, Kunar, Baghlan , Helmand, Kandahar and Kunduz provinces killed 72 armed oppositions and injured 29 others.
In the operations 13 other insurgents have been detained and numerous of weapons and war equipment, several hideouts of the terrorists and explosives have been destroyed.

Kabul (BNA) Ministry of Defense (MoD) says the ministry’s plan for creation of national women military council and world women military council has been approved by presidential office and international organizations.
In a statement released by the MoD yesterday, it was said that ministry of defense suggested plan for establishment of national women military council and world women military council on the first ‘National Women Military, Peace and Security Conference’ held on 5th of December 2019 with participation of President Ghani, First Lady, foreign ambassadors and representatives of international organizations to Kabul, which was approved by presidential office and international organizations.
According to the statement, procedures and statute of the council was discussed in a meeting Tuesday attended by 20 female militaries from MoD, MoI and NDS, representatives of the office of the country’s First Lady, National Security Council, ministry of women affairs, MoFA, RS and foreign embassies to Kabul.
It is determined that the plan will be shared with NATO on 8 March 2020 and up to end of the current year Afghan military women will share their experiences of war on terror with female militaries of all countries of the world.

Art Council Prays for Deceased Artists

Kabul (BNA)  Chaired by deputy minister of art and culture for information and culture Prof. Mohammad Rasol Bawary, the High Council of  Art was held yesterday.
In the meeting, members of the council’s leading body by praising art works of Ustad Mohammad Hanif, Ustad Asadullah Tajzai and Asif Jalali prayed to the souls of the three deceased artists of the country.
Asif Jalali, the country’s top comedian, passed away Wednesday morning due to a heart attack in Kabul.
Ustad Asadullah Tajzai, the country’s successful actor, passed away at age of 78.
Meanwhile, Ustad Mohammad Hanif, the country’s talented musician working for Radio and Television of Afghanistan (RTA), has recently passed away at age of 72 due to a disease he was suffering.
The deceased Ustad Mohammad Hanif spent 50 years of his life in RTA in the service of music.

Kabul (BNA) Deputy Governor of Kandahar Abdul Hanan Muneeb, in the second periodic Afghani Promotion Commission’s meeting on Wednesday where all the members of the commission were present said that using Afghan currency was every Afghan’s national duty.
While expressing their opinions, the members said that in order to prevent losses to ordinary public by enforcing Afghanis at once, the De Afghanistan Bank should develop a pragmatic plan that protects people against sudden losses and promote the use of Afghanis everywhere, the government media office said.
The deputy governor said that public awareness programs must be broadened and that he will meet businessmen and traders of every walk to attract support, according to the statement.
The representatives of De Afghanistan Bank said that the bank was ready to produce enough Afghanis to deal with the situation, the statement added.
