Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Radi Herwi the Afghan athlete of ITF Tick-Wando is getting ready for 2012 competitions in London. 
Herwi since 10 years back till now exercises Tick-Wando. He has got a gold medal and 2 bronze medals from foreign competition. 
In an interview with Najiba Zohab BNA reporter, he said that among 5 athletes from different countries he succeeded to receive the gold medal from competitions which was held in India in 2010.
He also said, that he got the bronze medals from Kazakhstan and Iran competitions. 
Rafi Herawi is 25 years old, in addition Tick-Wando, he is a member of Youths Parliamentarian Athletes group.

Kabul (BNA) Land plots were provided to Ruhullah Naikpa and Nessar Ahmad Bahawi Taek Wondo athletes. 
The two athletes received land plots for building home by Khalilullah Hotak head of the Sultan Mohamoud Ghaznawi residential townships in Ghazni province. 
At a meeting held at the National Olympic Committee, Hotak praised the victories of the two athletes and donated a land plot to each of them. 
In addition to this, Hotak has also presented around 40 jirib of land to the National Olympic Committee at that township and delivered its documents to Mohammad Zahir Aghbar chairman of the National Olympic Committee. 
The total cost of the land is USD 300,000. 
Aghbar has expressed appreciation of the committee to Hotak and asked for cooperation of other capital holders for encouragement of athletes.

Kabul (BNA) Dr. Zalmai Rasul Minister of Foreign Affairs addressing a meeting held in this respect said that athletes are like ambassadors and diplomats who are linking the world nations in a peaceful manner. 
He added that though war has greatly affected sports, but our youths in short time could attain honors for Afghanistan in sports fields. 
The ceremony was also attended by some in charges of sports of Taek Wandu. 
The minister recalled the efforts of Nessar Ahmad Bahawi, Ruhullah Neekpa, Mahmoud Haidari and other athletes having got gold, bronze and silver medals at international matches as ambassadors and diplomats of peace. 
He promised that his ministry will not refrain from ant assistance and cooperation with the athletes. 
He also presented some gifts to the medal winners as well.

Kabul (BNA) The Afghan Kick Boxing Team got a gold and 4 silver medal from international competition of India. 
Aref Paiman publication responsible of Olympic National Committee said to BNA, in this competition, the athletes of 8 countries, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, India, Philippine, Sire-Lanka, Maldives, Myanmar were attended. 
Faizullah Mohammad with 63 Kg weight over-came to Indian and Sire-Lanka athletes and got the gold medal. Ahmad Wali Azizi, Ghulam Abas Mohammadi, Reza Haidari and Khadija Hosaini received silver medals in these competitions.
The Afghan Kick Boxing Team participated with six athletes, a trainer and a delegation.  Translated by Suraya-Yarzada
