Kabul (BNA) The Afghan Basketball team registered championship of Asia beach competitions with the name of Afghanistan. 
According to information and public relation department of Olympic National Committee, the Afghan basketball team beat Thailand and Bangladesh teams and also Turkmenistan team with getting of 16.9 and got the championship. Also the Afghan Basketball team won Turkmenistan, Philistine and Nepal teams. 
In the third position of Asia beach competitions, Afghanistan participated in Basketball, Football, Handball, Volleyball events, which was held from June 12 with participating of 45 Asian countries in China.  T. Suraya-Yarzada
