Afghanistan Beat Sri Lank In U-19 World Cup 2018

Kabul (BNA) In continuation of U-19 World Cup 2018 champions, Afghanistan U-19 national cricket team had defeated Sri Lank U-19 national cricket team by 32 runs.
According to BNA report, first Afghanistan cricket team has started batting and by losing 5 wickets scored 284 runs.
Afghan batmen Ibrahim Zadrab hits 86 runs, Darwish Rasouli 63 runs, Ikrami Alikhail 55 runs, Naser Wahdat 25 runs, Ezatullah 20 runs and Qais Ahmad 10 runs.
Then, Sri Lanka U-19 national cricket team by losing his all wickets in 37 overs couldn’t reach to the chosen target and accept his failure.
Afghan bowlers Naveen-Ul-Haq snared three wickets, Ezmatullah 3 wickets and Qais Ahmad 2 wickets.
Due to rains the match has reduced from 50 overs to 38 overs.
Afghanistan clinched a place in the quarter-finals for the second time in their history.
It is mentionable that, Afghanistan U-19 national cricket team by two victories ranged at the top D group of the competitions.
Afghanistan to play with Ireland in their final group D match.
