Afghanistan Trounce West Indies by 3 Wickets, Keep Hopes Alive

Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan national cricket team in his first match of second round of Cricket World Cup Qualifier succeeded to defeat West Indies national cricket team by 3 wickets in Harara sports club on Thursday.
According to BNA report, first West Indies has started batting scored 197 for 8 in 50 overs, Afghan bowlers were well Mujeeb Zadran took 3 wickets, while Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan and Sharafuddin Ashraf dismissed one/one wicket each of them.
Then, Afghan batmen completed the chosen target in 47 overs by 3 wickets, Rahmat Shah (68), Mohammad Nabi  (31), Samiullah Shinwari (27), Najibullah Zadran (19), Gulbuddin Nayeb (10), Shahzad Mohammadi (8), Sharafuddin Ashraf (7 not out), Rashid Khan (13 not out).
Afghanistan entered the Super Sixes stage of the Cricket World Cup Qualifier knowing they needed to win their next three matches to stand any chance of progressing to the main event next summer.
