Kabul (BNA) Second vice-president Mohammad Karim Khalili met with the members of the understanding and liaison committee and some lecturers of Nangarhar University. 
The members shared their problems with the vice-president and asked the government leadership for addressing their difficulties. 
They said that the buildings of the university require reconstruction and so far no measure was taken as regards the lecturers residential plots. 
Approval of Night College with specific budget, expropriation of land for building of lecturer’s residences and dormitory for the students were other demands of the members and lecturers of the university. 
Khalili expressed pleasure to meet the members and the lecturers and assured them of timely addressing of their demands. 
He said that the Nangarhar University is a long-standing scientific center in Afghanistan and possesses the required capacity for training of professional cadres and that the government focuses its attention towards upgrading the capacity of the higher education institutions and universities and this program indeed bring about progress in the country.

Herat (BNA) 1050 educational personnel including teachers and directors of Herat schools received vocational trainings. 
In three separate courses, they received modern skills of teaching and management. 
Basir Taheri education head of Herat said to BNA, in this training program, teachers and directors of schools from center and districts of that province attended. 
In this 12 days programs participants taught by experts of education ministry. 
Education head of Herat province said that they will continue this program for teachers and other directors of schools in that province.

Kabul (BNA) Azerbaijan donated 15,000 volumes of books for awareness from damages of un-explosive mines and ammunition to disaster management office today. 
According to BNA reporter, a function was held for this purpose, Abdul Haq head of disaster management office said that these books has messages of awareness from damages of mines, and handed over to education ministry to teach by teachers in the schools of the country.
Dr. Sayeed Hamidullah deputy minister of education ministry said that the education ministry, disaster management office and coordination center of Afghanistan in mine cleaning affairs has decided that beside other subjects in the schools this books also to be used. 
Meanwhile, Mosa Jalalov head of awareness from mine damages assured his country’s cooperation in this field.

Kabul (BNA) Members of the independent legal training center in its meeting with second vice-president Mohammad Karim Khalili shared their problems, concerns of this center in terms of legal personalities of this center. 
According to the members of this center, legal training can assist upgrading the capacities of the judicial and legal systems for ever further realization of justice in the country’s courts and they added that this center has around 200 persons in practical way in different legal spheres. 
They asked the government of Afghanistan that considering the effectiveness of this center pay attention towards further upgrading the legal employees of this center, Mohammad Karim Khalili second vice-president after hearing their assertions of the center assured them their problems will be taken up with the president of the country. 
Khalili stressed that this center can by creating better legal venues assist legal improvement in the country.
