Kabul (BNA) Women networks have condemned the poisoning of girl students over the past two months in some provinces.
Head of the networks Mohbuba Seraj told a news conference that poisoning girl students is a crime and condemnable.
She also noted that anyone by any name stops girls going to school is enmity with the country, saying that Islam asks both women and men to learn.
Several girl schools have been poisoned over the past three months.
No one has claimed of responsibility. Taliban militants in Ghazni, Logar and some more provinces have warned girls to stop attending schools.

Kabul (BNA) Several agreements were inked between directorate for youth affairs and seven higher and half higher education institutes in the presence of Minister for Information and Culture Dr. Sayed Makhdom Raheen the other day.
In line with agreement, 3,800 youths will get enrolment with the private educational institutes of Spinghar, Khanai Noor, Behzad, Avicena Balkhi, Dunya Maasir and Teacher Training Center of Roshan with easy conditions.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Raheen said that the directorate for youth affairs has always strived to pave the way for the enrolment of youths including boys and girls to the higher and half higher educational institutes and made success in this regard.
Head of directorate for the youths affairs Timor Shah Ishaqzai inked the agreements with the mentioned institutes.
Khanai Noor also pledged to provide education to 10 poor students free of charge, while Avicenna Balkhi institute provide 50 girls free education in nursing and midwifery.

Kabul (BNA) A 20 member group of Afghan youth would go to France for higher education. 
In a meeting held yesterday between the officials with the ministry for higher education and French embassy here, minister for higher education Dr. Obaidullah Obaid said that the process of sending for higher education to have educated cadres is going on fairly. 
He also said 20 out of 200 candidates attended the test, have been chosen for education in France to obtain Master Degree in agriculture, law and French literature. 
France has provided 150 scholarships for PHD and MA for Afghan youths since 2002.

Kabul (BNA) The Shaheed Hasan Jan middle school’s new building was inaugurated by governor and education head of Kunar in Soki district today. 
According to BNA, this school has been constructed in one story with the financial assistance of India within one year. 
This school has 8 classrooms, 4 administrative offices, 160 sets of tables and chairs for students and other necessary facilities.
