Kabul (BNA) The corner stone for Qauran middle school’s new building based in Guldara district of Herat province laid on Sunday by provincial governor and head of education for the province. 
The building is to be constructed in one floor by Bayat Foundation and will be completed in four months. 
The building is determined to have six classrooms, two administrative rooms and all necessary equipments. 
Currently, 670 girl students are busy in studying at the school and with completion of the new building, better learning facilities re to be provided.

Kabul (BNA) A two day advisory workshop was held yesterday at Afghan ministry of higher education for self-evaluating.
Progress during evaluation and improvements of capacity at the ministry are to be reviewed at the workshop.
At the opening ceremony of the workshop, Mohammad Usman Baburi, deputy minister of Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) spoke about the recent developments made at the ministry and said the ministry started focusing on this issue two years ago and good results have come out of holding such workshops.
Baburi considered that the workshop aims at accessing to high education and improvement of higher quality and said the ministry is trying to care of world standards by enhancing the capacity building level at the ministry.
The workshop is attended by 150 employees of the ministry including general directors, deputy chancellors for higher education institution, representatives of World Bank, USAID and other allied institutions.
The workshop will end today.

Kabul (BNA) Foundation stone of a new building for Panjpai primary school was laid down by in charges of education Dept. of Khost province yesterday. 
The education ministry press office said to BNA, the building will be constructed in one storey from development budget of the education ministry within 7 months. 
This building will have 6 classrooms, 2 administrative offices and other educational facilities. 
Currently in this school, 370 students are learning under the tents. 
With construction of this building the problems of students will be solved from shortage of classrooms.

Kabul (BNA) A workshop under the title of (New Teaching Methods) held for Badghis teachers in the saloon of education Dept of that province yesterday. 
According to education ministry press office to BNA, this workshop was launched by Education Dept. of Badghis province with cooperation of ACID institution for five days.
In this workshop discussion will take place regarding the new teaching methods. 
50 schools’ teachers from the center of Badghis province have been attended in this workshop.
