Aibak City (BNA) With a cost of Afg 32,000,000 funded by Swedish Committee the construction works of seven school buildings have been completed and put into exploitation in northern Samangan province.
Eng. Mohammad Fahim Wahidi in-charge of rural development for Swedish Committee in Afghanistan during inauguration ceremony of these projects said, the school buildings have been implemented and put into exploitation in Dara Souf Payeen district and Aibak city the provincial capital of the province.
The school buildings had been constructed with all necessity equipment such as laboratories and libraries.
With construction of these schools the problems of more than 3600 students (boys and girls) have been settled in lack of classrooms and other education facilities.
According to information, 119,000 students are studying in 294 schools around Samangan province and only 163 schools has building, which fortunately the students of the remained schools are studying under tents.
Construction works on 11 schools are underway in the province.
Mohammad Hashim Zareh governor of Samangan appreciated from assist of Swedish Committee and asked from the Committee to continue its assistances regarding construction in Samangan.
