Kabul (BNA) The Laws Committee with second vice president Mohammad Sarwar Danesh on the chair approved the regulation of the civil scholarships here yesterday, a statement from the VP office said yesterday.
Addressing the session, the second vice president and chairman of the Laws of Committee called such regulation effective for bringing transparency and justice in distribution of the scholarships.
Mohammad Sarwar Danesh called upon the ministries to consider meritocracy and legal aspects in distribution of the scholarships, so the qualified candidates to be benefited.
Meanwhile after detailed discussions of the members of the session, the regulation on distribution of the scholarship was approved, instructing the Ministry of Justice to consider proposed amendments and present it to the cabinet meeting, the statement from VP office added.
The regulation on civil scholarships was approved within 6 chapters and 35 articles, aiming to bring transparency in distribution of the scholarships, build capacities of the professional cadres and coordination among different organs.
