Kabul (BNA) In a conference held on “Reforms in Higher Education System’, the president’s special representative on reforms and good governance, Ahmad Zia Massoud said higher education institutes can bring positive changes in the society, BNA reported.
According to the agency, at the outset, the president’s special envoy advisor on cultural and media affairs, Asarul Haq Hakimi briefed about their activities, adding since its establishment, office of the presient’s special envoy could attain achieves in related affairs.
Calling relations among government, youth and civil entities important, Zia Masoud said we wouldn’t face growth and development in the society unless positive cultural changes were created, BNA added.
During the conference, Massoud said continued war, insecurity and ruling traditional culture have caused political instability in the country and we could only overcome these challenges by education, the agency continued.
The conference was attended also attended by the minister of higher educations, Dr. Farida Momand, representatives of other ministries and government administrations, teachers, scholars, rectors of government and private universities and a number of university students.
