Afghan-Turk School Medal Winners Praised

Kabul (BNA) Second Deputy to the Chief Executive, Eng. Mohammad Khan praised Sunday, the Afghan-Turk school medal winners, BNA reported.

In a ceremony held the other day, Omid Afghan-Turk Principal Mohammad Rafi Musazai said the students could win first and second position respectively at the secondary and high school level during a worldwide amity-test, said the agency.
Talented students from 13 world countries, including Canada, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbyjan, Pakistan and other countries have attended the competition held in India, with the Afghan students could shine well and win the first and second positions, the principal said adding 12 of them winning gold and 13 silver medals among 55 Afghan students.  This is a matter of pleasure and pride for Afghanistan, said Musazai who added Mohammad Ysar Rahmani could win an honorary medal besides winning the gold one, said the agency.
The minister of education, Mohammad Mirwais Balkhi spoke at the ceremony and said this was a great achievement in the field of education for the country, the agency quoted.
Congratulating them for the achievement, Eng. Mohammad Khan called a great victory for the country’s education and said the government fully support private education, besides the government-run schools, according to the agency.
