3 New Buildings Inaugurated In Bamyan University

Bamyan (BNA) Second Vice-President Mohammad Karim Khalili the other day inaugurated the three newly-constructed buildings for agriculture and education faculties as well as the administrative affairs department of Bamyan University hoped more students would find their way to the university as a result of the projects.
He said that the buildings for agriculture and education faculties, costing $580,000 (30.2 million Afghanis), were funded by the Ministry of Higher Education.
The United States provided $680.000 for the administrative affairs department’s building.
The projects were completed within three years.
Minister of Higher Education Obaidullah Obaid called the buildings important, promising that the economics faculty would be added to the university in the near future.
He said Iran had promised 12 scholarships for students and four PhD scholarships to teachers of the varsity.
