Kabul (BNA) in a general session chaired by Abdul Zahir Qadir, first deputy speaker of Wolisi Jirga, an appreciation sheet of the Jirga was gifted to Qari Ahmad Rashad Mamozai, who got the first position among 57 Islamic countries in international competitions.  The session while appreciating Qari Momozai asked for cash rewards and distribution of a plot by Kabul municipality.  In the session an MP gifted him a plot from his own private budget.  Reminding of 24th uprising of Herat people, in the session the first deputy speaker read out a message of the Jirga on the occasion of the historic day.  In the session, the draft of structure and capabilities law for judicial and the courts capabilities law were introduced to Common House by Afghan justice minister Habibullah Ghalib and the government minister for parliamentary affairs Hamayoun Azizi.  The draft provided in nine chapters and 110 articles includes relevant issues of courts and judicial.

Kabul (BNA) Second Vice President, Mohammad Karim Khalili lauded Turkey as a typical among the Islamic countries for its playing a significant role in creating relation between the current developing values and those of the high Islamic demands.  A meeting held between the second vice president and the Turkish ambassador, Oze Turk to Kabul, both sides emphasized on the relation between the two countries, as the ambassador said Afghanistan enjoys a special position for his country and his country would remain alongside Afghanistan forever.  The Turkish ambassador also called peace process a need for restoring permanent peace and stability in the war torn country.  The second vice president once again lauded the cooperation of Turkey and called it effective in construction and rehabilitation of the country continuing that the Turkish country was from those typical Islamic countries playing significant role in connecting the modern and advancing standard with those of high Islamic values.  He hoped the relations in diplomatic, social, economic, cultural and trade to be expanded between the two Muslim nations.

Kabul (BNA) US President, Barack Obama congratulated president Karzai and his family for his new born girl, after then, some key issue had also been discussed between the two leaders, a statement said.  Both sides renewed their Lisbon conference commitment on security transition from the international troops to the Afghan forces by the end of 2014.  The two leaders also discussed creating a powerful Afghan security force, enforcement of the national sovereignty as well as the responsibility of the international forces to adopt supportive charge of the Afghan forces to fully take security of their country by their in 2013.  A memorandum of cooperation was also discussed to be set during the upcoming negotiations to remove the concerns on the nighttime operation and house searches.  Concerns of the Afghan president on presence of the foreign forces in the villages of Afghanistan would also be removed, both sides assured.  Obama also said he was waiting for arrival of President Karzai in the NATO member countries in the upcoming May Chicago conference, at the threshold of which the two leaders would discuss the next phase of security transition along with the NATO and ISAF.  The two countries leaders also vowed to stage close contact with each other.

Kabul (BNA) President Karzai in a meeting with the US defense Secretary, Leon Panetta asked for soon withdrawal of the foreign forces from the villages of Afghanistan and restore in their main military bases, as according to him, the security forces of the country had found capability to take security of their areas by their own.  In a meeting held in the presidential palace, both sides talked on continuing cooperation between the two countries and transition of security responsibility from the international forces to the Afghan led in 2013 instead of 2014.  Meanwhile, the US defense secretary said that he on behalf of the US government and people deeply expresses sympathies over the incident took place in the Zangabad village, Panjwayee district of southern Kandahar province in which more than one dozen civilians had been killed and wounded and assured for soon successful transition of the security process for responsibility from the international troops to the Afghan forces.  president Karzai also reiterated for quick stoppage of such an incident as there had been many such harrowing incidents been taken place in the country accompanying only by the foreign forces apology.  “Happening of such incidents had intensely damaged the relations between the two countries”, Karzai emphasized adding that such irksome incident should never be repeated in the future.  The trust between the Afghan people and the foreign forces had critically slapped  and it should be returned, he emphasized adding that the goal would be approached while the foreign forces pays full regard to the Afghan religion, tradition and may not allow their troops to enter the houses of the Afghans.  “They should completely focus on cooperation with reconstruction process in the country”, Karzai added asking for launching full investigation into the Panjwayee district incident and bringing the culprits to justice.  At the end, the US Panetta assured for soon brining the culprits to justice after full investigation into the incident.

Mosque Constructed in Charikar

Parwan (BNA) a congregational mosque was constructed in Charekar city today.  This mosque has been constructed in two storeys by United Arabic Emirate (UAE) at the cost of $ 28,000.  Mawlawi Abdul Wasi, head of Hajj and Endowment of Parwan said to BNA, this mosque has accommodated 1000 prayers in a time. Kabul (BNA) the national security dept said that two armed groups of insurgents led by Mullah Baz Mohmmad and Mullah Joma with 10 of their followers who had activity against government in the outskirts of Koshk Kohna district of Herat province with efforts of the personnel of the national security dept and cooperation of Ulema and tribal elders were jointed to peace process. These insurgents with their hand arms were jointed to peace process in that province.  It is said that with joining of these militias to peace process, security is improved in regions of this province.  T. 11 Armed Insurgents Killed in Provinces

Kabul (BNA) 11 armed insurgents were killed in operations by Afghan and coalition forces in the several provinces of the country yesterday.  According to interior ministry press office, the Afghan security forces in combined operation of  coalition forces  conducted operation in the outskirts of Nangarhar, Helmand, Urozgan, Logar, Paktika and Herat provinces, in which 11 armed insurgents were killed and 12 others have been detained.  In these operations, quantity of heavy and light arms consist of 6 Kalashnikovs, a rocket launcher, 3 light arms, 6 kg of opium, 7 mines, 2 sets of communication, 5 grenades and a motorbike were seized by these forces.  T. 4 Persons Detained in Baghlan

Baghlan (BNA) the security police of Baghlan province has detained 4 persons on charges of robbery.  These persons were detained in operation by police from outskirts of Tala and Barfak district on Thursday.  These arrested persons involved in tens cases of passengers robbery.  Sangi Mohammad governor of Tala and Barfak said to BNA, these persons were detained on charges of robbery and cash money of passengers in that province.  T. NATO Soldier Dead in East of Afghanistan

Kabul (BNA) a NATO soldier was killed in mine blast in the east of Afghanistan yesterday.  The identity of the solider has not clear but he was killed in roadside mine blast yesterday.  NATO press release confirmed killing of this solider but he has not said about identity of the solider and event of the area.  T. Rocket Attack on Military Base of Bagram

Parwan (BNA) military base of Bagram came under rocket attack by Taliban last night, it is said that in this event the American forces stationed in this base had no casualties.  According to reports, at least two rockets were hit on military base of American forces in Bagram .  Police chief of Parwan said to BNA, in this event the American forces stationed in this base nominally had no causalities.  According to him, these rockets were fired from Baltokhail area from suburb of Charikar city by armed Taliban on this base.  T.
