Kabul (BNA) the national security department of Kabul province said an explosion in Shashdarak area of Kabul occurred due from electrical problem in a depot of explosive materials. 
BNA reported, at 10:30 this morning explosive materials which were discovered by national security personnel from armed insurgents and due to transfer DIAG process, as a result of technical problem exploded, and fortunately no human casualties.

Seventeen Taliban Killed in Badakhshan

Faizabad (BNA) seventeen armed Taliban were killed and eight others wounded in recent clashes in Badakhshan province.
The clashes which continued for hours, two policemen were also martyred and two others wounded.
The clashes occurred last night in Jorm district, when tens of armed Taliban attacked on police forces.
Ahmad Naweed Ferotan spokesman governor of Badakhshan province said BNA, 17 armed Taliban were killed and 8 others wounded.
Ferotan confirmed that two policemen were martyred and two others wounded in the clashes.
It should be said that two local commanders of armed Taliban were among the dead.
Eyewitness said that Taliban after seven hour clashes, sustained heavy casualties and fled to mountains.
Spokesman of Badakhshan governor said, the operation continued for complete elimination of Taliban in Jorm district.

Two Bridges to Construct in Nangarhar

Kabul (BNA) Ministry of Public Work has planned to construct two bridges in Nangarhar province.
The contract of the two bridges was signed between Public Work Ministry and Maiwand Constructional Company.
BNA reported, Mohammad Ghous Bashiri deputy minister of Public Work ministry said the first bridge will be constructed in Jalalabad-Tourkham highway and the second bridge will be constructed inside of Jalalabad city from development budget of Public Work Ministry within 14 months.
With construction of the two bridges, more transportation facilities will be provided in Tourkham highway.
The contract of the bridges was signed by Mohammad Ghous Bashiri deputy minister of Public Work Ministry and Marya Barekzai responsible of Maiwand constructional company.

Armed Insurgents Killed and Wounded

Ghazni (BNA) two armed insurgents were killed and another wounded in Dehyak district of Ghazni province the night before last.
Faiz Mohammad Tofan police chief of Dehyak district said BNA, armed insurgent attacked on Laghabad village, Dehyak district, in counter attack of national police forces, two Taliban were killed and another wounded.
The source said, the bodies of Taliban were remained in the site.
There were no casualties among security forces and civilians in the clash.
According to another report, three armed rebels were killed in a series cleansing operations by Afghan security forces in different parts of the country.
Interior Ministry’s press office said BNA, the operation conducting for elimination of armed rebels in outskirts of Helmand, Paktia, Paktika, Ghzani, Sar-e-Pul, Kunduz and Nangarhar provinces killed three rebels, and arrested 18 others.
The source said, a quantity of weapons was seized.

Three National Army Soldiers Wounded

Kabul (BNA) three national army soldiers were wounded in explosion of a mine planted by Taliban during their security missions in Kapisa province yesterday.
National defense ministry’s spokesman said BNA; three national army soldiers were wounded in explosion of a mine in relevant areas of Tagab district of Kapisa province.

Kabul (BNA) Afghan National cricket team will contest with Pakistan national cricket team tomorrow.
Farid Hotak cricket board spokesperson told BNA reporter, the two teams will contest at 7:00pm in the United Emirates of Arabic tomorrow.
He added there is hope Afghan national cricket team beats Pakistani team in the competition.

Kabul (BNA) four armed militants including two commanders of them arrested and 23 mines discovered and defused in Kandahar province.
National defense ministry’s press office said BNA, the national army forces with cooperation of national police conducting a cleansing operation in the relevant areas of Panjwai district of Kandahar province, killed and wounded a number of armed militants.
Also the national army troops carried out cleaning operation in Soroobi district of Kabul province in which a number of armed militants were killed.
The national army forces during their security missions discovered and defused 23 mines from different regions of the country.

Al-Qaeda Member Kills

Paroon (BNA)  a member of Al-Qaeda network was killed during a clash with Afghan troops in Nooristan province yesterday.
The clash occurred in Kamdish district close to border of Pakistan when Afghan troops attacked on a hideout of Al-Qaeda network.
A commander of Afghan security forces in Kamdish district of Nooristan province said BNA correspondent, a member of Al-Qaeda network was killed in the clash.
The member of Al-Qaeda was Arab nation and he was present in one of a hideout of Taliban in Kamdish district.
According to the commander, during a one hour clash, the insurgents group sustained casualties in the hideout.
Nooristan province in the east of the country having 320 km joint border with Pakistan has been always the scene of terrorist activities by terrorist groups among them armed Taliban and Pakistani militants.

Twenty-Seven Armed Insurgents Kill

Kabul (BNA) the Afghan security forces in the last 24 hours conducted several cleansing operations in the provinces of the country, killed 27 armed insurgents.
Interior ministry’s press office said BNA, the Afghan security troops conducting several cleansing operations in the outskirts of Kabul, Laghman, Kandahar, Zabul and Helmand provinces killed 27 armed Taliban, wounded six and arrested four others.
A quantity of heavy and light weapons was seized.
Also, the local police forces discovered and defused seven mines from relevant areas of Kabul, Urozgan, Paktika and Herat provinces.

Pul-e-Khomri (BNA) the construction work of two water dams started in Baghlan province the other day.
Each of the projects will be constructed at length 150 meters in Tala and Barfak district from budget of Rural Rehabilitation and Development ministry at the cost of more than three million Afghanis.
Mobarak Shah responsible of irrational section of Rural Rehabilitation and Development department of Baghlan said BNA; the projects will be constructed in Gardoob and Dahan Zou villages, Tala and Barfak districts of Baghlan province.
With completion of the projects, three hectares of agricultural land will be irrigated and the problem of 750 families will be solved from shortage of water.
