Airline to set up between Quetta –Kandahar

Kabul (BNA) the PIA Company of Pakistan has planned to set up an airline between Quetta and Kandahar.  Pakistan press reported that, the PTI Company of that country will start airline fly between Quetta of Pakistan and Kandahar in 3 next month. Establishments of airline between Quetta and Kandahar is extension program section from PIA Company, the authorities of Transportation ministry said nothing in this regard yet.  T. Suraya-Yarzada

Taliban commander Mullah Asadullah killed

Sar-e-Pul (BNA) Mullah Asadullah senior commander of armed Taliban was killed in a military operation in Sar-e-Pul province yesterday.  This commander targeted by Afghan and NATO forces in his hideout in the outskirts of Sar-e-Pul province.  BNA quoting from NATO press statement, Mullah Asadullah was killed with his followers while organizing of terrorist attacks.  He had rule in more insecurity bloody attacks in that province.  In this operation, number of other militias attributed to this commander was killed and a arms cache of them was seized by these forces.  T. Taliban senior commander arrested in Kandahar

Kabul (BNA)  a senior commander of Taliban was arrested in a military operation in Kandahar province this morning.  The identity of this commander had not clear, he organized terrorist attacks on Afghan NATO forces and civilians and arrested.  BNA quoting from NATO press statement, this commander was arrested by armed Taliban from a mosque.  NATO said he organized all terrorist attacks from this mosque.  It is being said; number of other militias attributed to this commander were killed and arrested.  According to this press statement, a huge cache of arms was seized from hideout of this commander as well.  T. ASF discovers 25 mines

Kabul (BNA) 25 mines were discovered and neutralized in operation by Afghan Security Forces.  National defense ministry press office said to BNA, 25 different mines which were placed by armed militants for destructive and terrorist actions in the outskirts of Kapisa, Kandahar, Helmand, Nimrooz provinces were discovered and  neutralized by Afghan Security Forces and prevented from several terrorist events.  T. New building schools inaugurated in Herat

Kabul (BNA) the new buildings of Poshqan girls school and Mamora Porimary School was inaugurated by education head in the Pashtoon Zarghoon district of Herat province.  BNA reported the new building of Poshqan girl’s high school has been constructed in one storey from development budget of education ministry within one year and has 10 classrooms, 2 administrative rooms, and other necessary facilities.  The Mamora primary school building was constructed by education ministry within one year and has 4 classrooms, administrative office, and other educational facilities.  With construction of these schools, better education fields were provided for students of  these schools.  T. Civilians wounded in suicide attack in Kandahar

Kandahar (BNA) six civilians were wounded in a suicide attack in Kandahar province last evening.  This event occurred in the vicinities of 2nd district of Kandahar, when two suicide attackers exploded their motorcycle full of explosive devices among civilians.  Sediqullah Sediqi spokesman of interior ministry said to BNA in this attack, six civilians were wounded.  Eyewitness said that one of the attackers was wounded in this event.  Meanwhile, Dr. in Maiwand hospital of Kandahar reported the health condition of 4 wounded civilian’s critical.  T. Kabul (BNSA) three civilians were wounded in firing of a rocket in Kabul city this morning.  Najibullah Samsoor head of 9th security precinct of Kabul said to BNA, this rocket was fired from direction of Dehsabz and landed in agricultural lands, in which three civilians were wounded.  According to him, two other rockets were fired in the vicinities of 9th security district and no report on hand about details of this case.  T. Explosion in Kandahar

Kandahar (BNA) few minutes ago explosion occurred in Kandahar province.  According to reports, this blast occurred in the 4th district of Kandhar city while passing of Afghan militaries caravan from the area.  No report on hand about casualties of this blast yet.  Details of this report will publish later.

12 armed rebels killed

Kabul (BNA) the press sources of the interior ministry said that 12 Taliban armed rebels were killed in operations of security forces.  Interior ministry press office said to BNA, the national army forces in last 24 hours conducted operations in the insecurity regions of Kunar, Kapisa, Nangarhar, Laghman, Kunduz, Jouzjan, Kandahar, Paktia, Herat , and Helmand provinces in which 12 armed Taliban rebels were killed, 9 wounded and 28 others of them were arrested.  It is being said that quantity of heavy and light arms were seized by these forces.  According to another report, the police personnel of Faryab province discovered and neutralized a planted mine which was placed by armed rebels in the Ghormach district of that province. Minister of commerce visits Baghlan

Baghlan (BNA) The minister for commerce Anwarul Haq Ahadi visited Baghlan province yesterday and toured the oil and commerce facilities there, spokesman for Baghlan’s governor, Mohamoud Hakmal said.
To encourage national traders, the minister, he added had cancelled municipality tax, saying industrial parks will be built there.
In meeting with Baghlan governor, Sultan Mohammad Abadi, he also heard the problems of Baghlan residents in the fields of oil and trade, adding all steps will be taken to overcome the challenges.
