Two Narcotic Smugglers Arrested

Tuesday, November 19, 2013 Kabul (BNA) two people arrested while smuggling dozens of kgs of opium in Zabul province. The accused were blamed for smuggling the opium Zabul to Kandahar province arrested by security forces yesterday. Mohammad Jan Yarmal deputy governor of Zabul said BNA, the accused packed the opium packages skillfully in a vehicle. According to him, the packages concluded at least 40 kgs of opium.

Kabul (BNA) as a result of fresh clashes between two ethnic groups in Badghis province two people killed and two others wounded.
The clash occurred in an area between two young men from Dayzangi and Barn Quri ethnics in Ahab Kamari district.
A local official in Badghis province said BNA, in the clash two people killed and two others wounded.
According to him, the security personnel are in the site to end clash between the two ethnics.
The presence of weapons and irresponsible armed people is a great challenge to social and individual safety of people and threatens the security of Afghanistan in general.

Thirty-Seven Armed Insurgents Kill

Friday, November 15 
Kabul (BNA) the afghan security forces in the last 24 hours conducted several cleansing operations in the provinces of the country killed 37 armed insurgents the other day.
Interior ministry’s press office said BNA, the afghan security forces conducting the operations in the relevant areas of Helmand, Kunar, Nooristan, Maidan-Wardak, Kandahar, Nangarhar, Ghazni and Nimrooz provinces killed 37 armed insurgents, wounded 17 and arrested 13 others.
A quantity of weapons, 99 kg of narcotics was seized.
Also, the afghan security forces discovered and defused 28 mines which were planted by armed insurgents in Laghman province.

Kabul (BNA) the national security personnel arrested four people accused of organizing attacks on oil tankers on the roads leading to the province.
The criminals arrested in a special military operation.
Mawlawi Mahrof, Abdulraouf, Abdul Bari and Alawoudin members of Taliban were responsible for organizing terrorist attacks, including attacks on oil tankers convey in northern highways of the country especially in Parwan province.
A source of national security directorate in Parwan province said that the arrested people in initial investigation acknowledged that they were ordered by some senior commanders of armed Taliban for plating magnetic mines, kidnapping and terrorist attacks in some parts of Dosaraka Bagram, Jabel Saraj and Kabul-Parwan highways.
Meanwhile the Kabul-North highways of Afghanistan witness the bloodiest attacks on Oil tankers during over the last few years.

Taliban Senior Commander Arrested

Wednesday November 13, 2013
Kabul (BNA) in a special military operation Mawlavi Abdulrahman a senior and notorious commander of armed oppositions arrested in Badakhshan province.
The commander while going to his hideout spotted by Afghan soldiers and after one-hour clashes in Kham area, Kasham district arrested yesterday.
Sayed Jahangeer Karamat security chief of Badakhshan in a contact confirming the arrest of Mawlavi Abdulraham said he was a well-known commander of Taliban in the province.
Karamat claimed, the clashes caused no casualties among civilians and security forces.
Local authorities say, he was a cruel commander of armed oppositions and mostly involved in terrorist activities, bombing and planting of roadside mines.

Kabul (BNA)  the officials of national security department of Kabul arrested a person who wanted to carry out suicide attack in Kabul city .
National security department said BNA, the suicide attacker is resident of Helmand and wanted to carry out suicide attack on a senior security official, arrested by officials of national security department of Kabul.

New School Building Inaugurated

Mazar-e-Sharif (BNA) new school building was inaugurated and put into exploitation in Balkh province yesterday.
Qais Meher Aeen education head of Balkh province said BNA the building of the school has been constructed in the area 3 jiribs of land with the assistance of GTZ office of German at the cost of 300,000 dollars.
According to Meher Aeen, the building of the school was constructed in two stories and has 16 classrooms, and other educational facilities, and accommodated 1500 students in two times.

Taliban Senior Commander Kill

Herat (BNA)  a senior commander of Taliban was killed in a clash with Afghan troops in Herat province the other day.
National army forces in Herat said Mullah Yaqoob was killed in a clash by national army forces in Koshk Robat Sangi district of the province.
Meanwhile, two mines which were planted by armed insurgents along the road of Koshk Kohna district discovered and defused by national army forces. 
Also, two armed Taliban were arrested in Shindand district of Herat province.
It should be said that the arrested Taliban involved in destructive activities in that district.

Farid Hotak cricket board spokesperson said BNA, in the competitions 16 teams will participate, Afghanistan in group (B) will contest Holland, Kenya, Papua New Guinea, Scotland, Denmark, Nepal and Bermuda teams.

Consolidating Borders Operation Continues

Kabul (BNA) an operation under the code name of (Consolidating Borders) carried out by national army forces in the outskirts of Kandahar province, numerous armed insurgents were killed.
National defense ministry’s spokesman said BNA, the operation conducted for elimination of armed oppositions in the relevant areas of Maiwand district of Kandahar province, in which numerous of armed oppositions killed and a quantity of heavy and light weapons seized.
