Sport Hall Opened in Bamyan

Bamyan (BNA)  the first sport hall was opened in Bamyan province.
The hall has been constructed from budget of counter-narcotic ministry in the area of two jiribs of land at the cost of 630,000 dollars.
Zabiullah spokesman of counter-narcotic ministry appreciated the construction of the hall and asked further extension of sport fileds in that province.

Armed Oppositions Killed, 44 Mines Discovered

Kabul (BNA)  the national army forces carried out a cleansing operation in the outskirts of Gero district of Ghazni province, killed  a great number of armed oppositions and wounded number of them.
Also, the national army forces launched a cleansing operation in Panjwai district of Kandahar province, a number of armed oppositions were killed and 44 mines were discovered and defused from different parts of the province.
According to another report, two national army troops were killed and another wounded in explosion of a mine in Qaisar district of Faryab province.

Construction Work of a Bridge Starts

Pul-e-Khomri  (BNA)  the construction work of a bridge started in Pul-e-Khomri capital of Baghlan province yesterday.
The bridge with 21 meter length and 5 meter width will be constructed in Pul-e-Khomri city.
It should be said that with construction of the bridge, the transportation problems of thousands of residents of Pul-e-Khomri city will be tackled.
Fraidoon Shinwari an official of Pul-e-Khomri municipality said BNA correspondent, the bridge will be constructed at the cost of 23 million Afghanis.

Twenty Seven Armed Rebels Kill

Tuesday November 19, 2013
Kabul (BNA) In operation launched by security forces as a result of which 27 insurgents were killed and 17 others wounded in Shindand district of Herat province.
Gen. Abdul Hamid police chief of Herat told BNA, the operation launched a week ago by National police, National army and National security directorate personnel.
He said, deputy governor of armed oppositions for Chasht district also killed in the operation.
He added, the operation ended yesterday and several villages of Shindand district cleansed from existence of armed oppositions.
He claimed there were no casualties among security forces in the operation.

Four Mine Planters Arrested

Tuesday November 19, 2013
Kabul (BNA) Four persons accused of planting mines arrested by security officials in Kunar province yesterday.
Col. Abdul Habib Sayedkhail police chief of Kunar told BNA, they are accused of planting mine that killed three National army soldiers in Wata poor district, Kunar province the day before yesterday.
According to the source, the suspect’s persons during primary investigation confessed to their crime.

Sport Gymnasium put into Exploitation

Bamyan (BNA)  A sport gymnasium of Bamyan city put into exploitation.
The gymnasium has been built in two jiribs of land by counter-narcotics ministry at the cost of 630,000 dollars. The construction of the gymnasium will be completed within a year.
The head  of sport department of Bamayan said that since 1387 up to now Bamyan is free from poppy cultivation, for this purpose, this ministry annually assists one million dollars to carry out  developmental  projects, building the gymnasium is a part of the projects.
Officials of Bamyan sport directorate said that currently 16 sport federations are operating in the province and more than 12,000 people including 700 female athletes are buzzy in different fields of sports

Two Narcotic Smugglers Arrested

Tuesday, November 19, 2013 Kabul (BNA) two people arrested while smuggling dozens of kgs of opium in Zabul province. The accused were blamed for smuggling the opium Zabul to Kandahar province arrested by security forces yesterday. Mohammad Jan Yarmal deputy governor of Zabul said BNA, the accused packed the opium packages skillfully in a vehicle. According to him, the packages concluded at least 40 kgs of opium.

Kabul (BNA) as a result of fresh clashes between two ethnic groups in Badghis province two people killed and two others wounded.
The clash occurred in an area between two young men from Dayzangi and Barn Quri ethnics in Ahab Kamari district.
A local official in Badghis province said BNA, in the clash two people killed and two others wounded.
According to him, the security personnel are in the site to end clash between the two ethnics.
The presence of weapons and irresponsible armed people is a great challenge to social and individual safety of people and threatens the security of Afghanistan in general.

Thirty-Seven Armed Insurgents Kill

Friday, November 15 
Kabul (BNA) the afghan security forces in the last 24 hours conducted several cleansing operations in the provinces of the country killed 37 armed insurgents the other day.
Interior ministry’s press office said BNA, the afghan security forces conducting the operations in the relevant areas of Helmand, Kunar, Nooristan, Maidan-Wardak, Kandahar, Nangarhar, Ghazni and Nimrooz provinces killed 37 armed insurgents, wounded 17 and arrested 13 others.
A quantity of weapons, 99 kg of narcotics was seized.
Also, the afghan security forces discovered and defused 28 mines which were planted by armed insurgents in Laghman province.

Kabul (BNA) the national security personnel arrested four people accused of organizing attacks on oil tankers on the roads leading to the province.
The criminals arrested in a special military operation.
Mawlawi Mahrof, Abdulraouf, Abdul Bari and Alawoudin members of Taliban were responsible for organizing terrorist attacks, including attacks on oil tankers convey in northern highways of the country especially in Parwan province.
A source of national security directorate in Parwan province said that the arrested people in initial investigation acknowledged that they were ordered by some senior commanders of armed Taliban for plating magnetic mines, kidnapping and terrorist attacks in some parts of Dosaraka Bagram, Jabel Saraj and Kabul-Parwan highways.
Meanwhile the Kabul-North highways of Afghanistan witness the bloodiest attacks on Oil tankers during over the last few years.
