Kabul (BNA) The authorities of the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates informed over efforts made by the ministry toward solution of problems of Afghan refugees in Turkey.
Islamuddin Juraat, the spokesperson of the ministry said that in 2011 around 11,000 Afghans lived in Turkey as refugees and as result of efforts during the visit of the minister of refugees and repatriates of Turkey around 2,000 of Afghan received 8-months stay documents and efforts are going on so that a specific mechanism is prepared for addressing the problems of the Afghans in that country.
It is said that some of the Afghan refugees are passing very difficult time in Turkey.
According to them they have no access to social services, their children are deprived of schools and they cannot get medical aid and they are asking for immediate solution of their problems.

Kabul (BNA) Deputy Information and Culture Minister, Mohammad Nabi Farahi in his message over the 35th death anniversary of Gul Pacha Ulfat which sent to the governor and people of Laghman province described the late Ulfat as the man of poems and letter, saying the late Ulfate had poems in both Pashtu and Dari languages.
Praising the late Ulfat, in the message, Farahi said that the books which authored by the late Ulfate is part of national culture of Afghanistan.

Pakistan ready for tripartite meeting

Kabul (BNA) The government of Pakistan declared readiness for holding of tri-partite meeting of ministers of industry and commerce of Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan.
A source of the Iranian embassy in Pakistan in a press conference said that the Pakistani authorities have expressed readiness of that for holding tri-partite meeting of ministers of commerce and industries of Afghanistan and the ministry of  commerce of Iran. But Iran has not responded about the date of this meeting.
It was expected that the ministers of commerce of Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan hold a meeting in Islamabad last month discuss ways to increase cooperation in economy among the three nations.
This meeting was suspended for the reason of massive protests over the nation-wide elections in Pakistan.
The Iranian news agency however quoting a source of Afghan embassy in Islamabad has said that Pakistan has defined a new date for this meeting and it is expected that this meeting is held on the 23 and 24 of Dalw in Islamabad.
At the meeting held in presence of Hamid Karzai, Mahmoud Ahmadi Nezhad and Asif Ali Zardari on the 28th of Dalwa of 1390 in Islamabad, they asked the ministers of commerce to undertake expansion of cooperation in socio- economic spheres among the three countries.
It is predicted that advancing of proposals aimed expansion of trade transport, encouraging the private sectors in the three countries for investments, assessment of new says, free trade, upgrading of trade relations through encouragement of joint cooperation in the related projects of infrastructure’s, road buildings, railway line, communications, cooperation in energy sector, extraction of mines, agriculture and other spheres will be taken up at the meeting of the ministers of the three countries.

Serial “Kocha-e-Ma” displayed

Kabul (BNA) Serial Kochai Ma of Our Street which was produced by Afghan Film, Mauj Cinema and UNAMA, displayed in Afghan film with speech presented by Sayed Mosadiq Khalili the deputy to ministry for information and culture yesterday.
Figured on returning refugees, poverty, jobless and participation of men and women in the political and social activities, Khalili expressed satisfaction over the contents of the serials, saying it is good news that local production is replacing the foreign produced ones.
He also noted that the arts of cinema have been on progress in Afghanistan since 2001 and Afghan produced films have been put on display at international festivals.

Kabul (BNA) The minister of foreign affairs Dr. Zalmai Rasoul has said that national interests will be kept in mind in talks with US over granting judicial immunity to the soldiers.
Replying to Arianna television’s question, according to BNA, he said that US troops in many countries and its soldiers enjoy immunity.
The foreign minister also pointed out the talks between Afghanistan and American on the proposed security pact and granting judicial immunity for American soldiers are going on with keeping on mind the national interests of Afghanistan.
According to another report, Dr. Rasoul stated that war is not in the villages of Afghanistan and so the US and NATO forces should withdraw from Afghanistan villages.

Journalists Federation formed

Kabul (BNA) The journalists unions of Afghanistan had formed Federation of Journalists here in Kabul yesterday.
Composed of nine media outlets and unions, the newly established federation has no chief and instead works in several commissions within the framework of the federation to support freedom of press and capacity building of media outlets in the country.
Meantime, the minister for information and culture Dr. Sayed Makhdom Raheen has welcomed the formation of the federation and in talks with BNA congratulated it to media men and wished success.

Kabul (BNA)  The minister of information and culture Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen in his message to the governor of Laghman province and was read out in a meeting held in Laghman yesterday, said that 35 years ago the renown poet Gul Pacha Ulfat passed away.
Describing his death as a great loss and said Ulfat’s place is empty among the family of pen and writers, saying the late Ulfat belonged to the whole Afghans and always he thought about Afghans and Afghanistan.
The late Ulfat was a patriotic and reflected the pains of his people and country in poem.  Dr. Raheen went on to say in the message.

Kabul (BNA) The House of People approved the national budget of 1392 in an extraordinary meeting for this purpose.  The house of people had twice rejected the budget for different reasons.  At the extraordinary meeting of the House of People chaired its chairman Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi, the national budget of 1392 after lengthy discussions was adopted with the majority vote of the deputies.
The national budget of 1392 contains Afs 196/327 billion development budget and the ordinary budget is Afs 157/750 billion.

Kabul (BNA) A meeting was held in Kabul to mark the auspicious Milad of Hazrate Mohammad (PBUH).
Organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Endowment, the meeting was attended by a number of religious scholars, Dr. Mohammad Yusuf Niazi talked in detail on the life of Great Prophet of Islam Hazrate Mohammad Mustafa the great leader and savior of Islam and humanity.
He added that acquaintance with the life and guidelines of the great prophet of Islam and following his deeds can lead us towards prosperity and progress.
He noted that the present calamities is emanating due to our distance from the auspicious guidelines of the Great Prophet, and said let start from ourselves and be sure that observing of the morale of the prophet will have no harm for observing of good morality benefits us all in this and the other world.
Chairman of the nationwide religious ulama Mawlawi Qayamuddin Kashaf also shed light on the guidelines and life of the Great Prophet of Islam.  He added that the Great Prophet of Islam was born in Holy Mecca and before he was born his father Abdullah bin Abdul Mutalib died and while he was only six year old his mother died.
He became orphan but he continued his life with all problems but due to khis good manners and good morality everyone in Mecca respected him.
Deputy Minister of Information and Culture Mubarez Rashidi also spoke on the life and deeds of the Great Prophet of Islam, saying that the prophet inherited the faith of and the Holy Book of Allah (Kuran).
Other speakers were some religious scholars.

Defense Minister visits Herat

Herat (BNA) General Besmellah Mohammadi Minister of defense arrived in Herat to assess security issues in the west zone.
Emphasizing on strengthening and equipping of the security forces during the transition of security, he assessed the activities of the army corps 207 Zafar and met with Herat governor Daud Shah Saba.
At the meeting they discussed transition of security and preparing of a deployment of Afghan security forces in Herat province.
The Defense Minister also met with the officers of Zafar army corps declaring the gains of national army in the zone as satisfactory.  General Taj Mohammad Jahid commander of army corps 207 Zafar said that the national army in the west zone has taken over the lead of operations and they are carrying it with success.
According to Jahid the task delegated to the national army in the west is being accomplished in good manners and the people as a while are supporting transition of security responsibility to the Afghan security forces.
The Defense Minister also activities of the army corps as satisfactory and added that with the blessing of Allah during the current year the national army has carried tens of joint operations in all the regions of the country in order to disintegrate the insurgents.
Currently, he added, almost 70% of security tasks are being performed by the Afghan security forces.  He asked the commanders of the national army to adopt preparations for accepting the fourth phase of security transition and for military operations.
