Kabul (BNA)  four local commanders of armed Taliban were killed in military operations by Afghan and NATO forces in Afghanistan last night and this morning.  These operations conducted in the outskirts of Helmand, Kandahar, Urozgan, Faryab, Ghazni and Paktika provinces, in which three other local commanders of this group were arrested.  BNA quoting from NATO press statement, these commanders were killed and arrested while organizing of terrorist attacks and destructive activities.  NATO said , these commanders had committed leadership of several terrorist attacks in their regions.  It is being said, 10 other militias attributed to these commanders were arrested as well.  In these operations, five arms caches of Taliban were seized by these forces.  Tens of arms and hundreds kg of drugs and explosive devices were seized from these caches.

Taliqan (BNA)  a senior commander of armed Taliban was killed in Takhar province.  This commander targeted by Afghan and NATO forces in his hideout in the outskirts of Ashkmash district and lost his lives.  Najibullah head of national security of Takhar said to BNA, this commander had committed leadership of terrorist attacks in the different regions of Kunduz and Takhar provinces.  According to him, in this operation 3 militias attributed to this commander were killed .  Najibullah head of national security of Takhar said tens of arms and quantity of narcotic were seized from hideout of this commander.

Trenkoot (BNA)  the police security commandment of Urozgan province surrendered hundreds of arms to arms collection program in that province yesterday.  The officials of this commandment said these arms were seized during 6 month back in several military operations from center and districts of that province.  The surrendered arms including rockets, mortar mines, Kalashnikovs, pistols and PK machine guns.  Mohammad Aslam police chief of Urozgan said to BNA, five persons were arrested in the connection of these arms.

1369 kg of hashish set on fire in Paktia

Gardiz (BNA) more than 1369 kg of narcotic was set on fire by police personnel of Paktia security commencement yesterday.  Colonel Zalmai Oryakhail police chief of Paktia said to BNA, 1369 kg of hashish, quantity of heroin, and many bottles of alcoholic beverages were seized and burnt in several operations from vicinities of Ahmadabad district and other district of that province.  These narcotics were set on fire in presence of deputy governor of that province Abdul Rahman Mangal.

Neli (BNA) eight armed oppositions were jointed to peace process in Daikundi province.  Spokesman of Daikundi security commandment said to BNA, Mullah Qasem Sadiqi leader of 8 member group of armed oppositions previously had activity against government in the Gorka area, Kader district of Daikundi province, with efforts of security forces, they were jointed to government.  They handed over their 7 arms to local in charges of that province.  During the current years, 400 armed oppositions were jointed to peace process in Dalikundi province.

High school building inaugurated in Nangarhar

Jalalabad (BNA) the new school building of Maleka Suraya was inaugurated in the Behsood district of Nangarhar province.  Mohammad Asef Shenwari press in charge of education dept. of Nangarhar said to BNA, the building of this school has been constructed with assistance of German people at the cost of 320,000 dollars, and has 30 classrooms.  According to him, with construction of this school the problem of 1700 students were tackled from shortage of classrooms.  It is said that previously, different buildings for 15 schools have been constructed by this donor foundation in Nangarhar province.

Maidan-Wardak (BNA) assistance took place for 50 deserved families in recent explosion in the Sayeedabad district of Maidan-Wardak province.  Mohammad Islam Hosaini head of work and social affairs of Maidan-Wardak said to BNA, this assistance consists of foodstuffs and kitchenware assisted by UNDP office.  According to Hosaini, this assistance disseminated in presence of delegation to deserved families in that province.

Police prevents several terrorist events

Kabul (BNA) the police personnel of interior ministry prevented several terrorist events in the provinces of the country.  Interior ministry press office said to BNA, in last a week , the police personnel of interior ministry during several operation discovered  30 different types of mines, 30 mortar mines, a rocket launcher , 150  gun bullets, 14 different types of arms.  With using of these arms, the armed militants wanted to organize terrorist attacks in Kunar, Kandahasr, Paktia, Khost, Logar, Helmand, Nangarhar, Laghman, Kunar and Kunduz provinces.  Meanwhile, the police personnel of interior ministry arrested five persons on charges of abduction from vicinities of Balkh and Takhar provinces and released two persons from clutch of them.

Mullah Nazir killed

Kabul (BNA) Mullah Nazir senior commander of Pakistani Taliban was killed.  According to reports, Mullah Nazir senior commander of Pakistani Taliban was killed with his 8 colleagues in drone attack in northern Waziristan in Wana center near of Angoorheda .  The separate sources and Pakistani Taliban group said nothing about killing of this commander, but it is said that the deputy of Commander Mullah Nazir was killed in this event as well.

16 inmates released from Bagram Jail

Ghazni (BNA) 16 inmates which all of them were residents of Ghazni province were released from Bagram jail yesterday.  A function was held for this purpose, Mosa Khan Akbarzada governor of Ghazni said, with releasing of these inmates the security was improved in Ghazni province.  Nabi Jan one of in charges in Ghazni province said to BNA, these inmates were released with cooperation of peace high council of Ghazni province.  According to this source, these inmates previously were arrested in military operations of NATO forces from vicinities of Ghazni province and with cooperation of peace high council, they were released.  Jan Mohammad one of the released prisoners on behalf of others pledged all kinds of cooperation to in charges of Ghazni province.
