Kunar (BNA) Mullah Shahpoor commander of Pakistani Taliban and 2 members of Alqaeda were killed in air bombardment of NATO forces.  It is being said, at least 9 civilians including of women and children were martyred in the bombardment.  According to reports, the Afghan and American troops attacked on hideouts of Mullah Shapoor and after a clash, the air forces bombardment the area.  Fazullah Wahidi governor of Kunar said BNA, Mullah Shahpoor Pakistani Taliban commander with 2 members of Alqaeda were killed.  According to local officials of Kunar, the Pakistani Taliban commander was main agent for assassination of Malik Zareen a former jihadi commander.  Malik Zareen was killed some days ago in a terrorist attack in Kunar.  Governor of Kunar said assessments has been started for killing of civilians in the attack.

22 inmates released from Nangarhar jail

Jalalabad (BNA) In accordance with the President Order issued on the auspicious Miladun Nabi Day 22 prisoners were set free from Nangarhar jail yesterday.  Abdul Wali Hesarak head of Nangarhar jail said BNA, According to the mentioned decree, 22 inmates including of a woman were released from jail of the province.  Hesarak said currently 1453 prisoners including of 21 women were under the custody in Nangarhar jail.

Khost (BNA)  the foundation stone of children education center was laid down by governor of Khost province yesterday.  Press office of Khost said BNA, the center will be constructed more than 16800,000 Afghanis.  In starting work ceremony, Abdul Jabar Naemi governor of Khost and number of civil and military in charges were participated.  Governor of Khost said that construction of the center is one important priority for people of that province according to Naeimi other more projects will be launched in Khost province in the next year and more work facilities will be provided for people of that province.  Head of children education reform center of Khost said with construction of the center,  part problems of children education center will solved in that province.

18 armed militants killed

Kabul (BNA) the Afghan Security Forces during some operations in Kapisa province killed 18 armed militants yesterday.  According to Shamshad 202 police zone, the Afghan security forces carried out cleansing operations in the parts of Almaskhail, Gadakhail and Dara Badrat of Tagab district, in which 18 militants were killed and two wounded.  According to another report, the officials of Kapisa security command discovered and neutralized an anti-personnel mine, anti-vehicle mine from agricultural lands in the Zarshou area, Nejrab district.

Ammunition seized in Bamyan

Bamyan (BNA) quantity of ammunitions was seized by police from a hideout in Kohmard district of Bamyan province.  Ahmad Ali Yarzada police chief of Bamyan said BNA, 7 anti-personnel mines, 7 RPG bullets, 100 mortar mines, and a pistol were seized from the hideout.  In charge of Bamyan security command said the ammunition was transferred for destructive activities to Balmyan province and was discovered by personnel of the mentioned command.  No one has from been arrested in the connection of the case but the investigation is going on.

Blast in Kunduz

Kunduz (BNA) blast occurred in the outskirts of 4th precinct of Kunduz province this morning.  Syeed Sarwar Hosasini spokesman of Kunduz security command said BNA; the blast occurred in 400 meter house of Kunduz governor but had no casualties.  An eyewitness said in the incident, a military vehicle completely destroyed.  Police started investigation in this field

Lashkargah (BNA) first agriculture institute was inaugurated in Helmand province yesterday.  Local officials said the institute will be cooperating for improvement of agriculture of this sector in Helmand province.  The foundations of the institute will be built by British country at the cost of one million dollars.  Farooq Wardak minister of education said the institute will be changed as largest scientific center in extension of agriculture in the south of Afghanistan.  The institute has elaborator, conference hall, mosque, library and dormitory for students.  In the inaugural ceremony, the education minister said that the scientific center will be trained students to 14 classes in agricultural section.

Four Iranian nations arrested in Farah

Farah (BNA) the local officials of Farah reported from arresting of 4 Iranian nations on charges of smuggling narcotic.  Shir Ahmad Maldani frontier commander of 4th police zone in the south of the country said, the security officials arrested four Iranian nations with 1200 kg of narcotic which were planted in a vehicle from Melal area.  Maldani confirmed that the arrested smugglers were smuggled the narcotic from Pakistan to Afghanistan.  According to him, the smugglers wanted to smuggle the narcotic to Iran and Tajikistan.

Jalalabad (BNA) the local officials of Nangarhar reported from discovering of 10,000 kg of fertilizers and ammonium nitrate.  The materials were discovered in a special operation by security officials from Jalalabad city.  Abdullah Azem Stanekzai police official of Nangarhar said BNA, Taliban placed the materials inside of cement bags and smuggled it’s from Pakistan to Jalalabad city.  It is being said Abdul Samad a resident of Laghman has been arrested in the connection of the case.  In primary investigation, Abdul Samad said he smuggled the materials from Pakistan to Jalalabad for using production of explosive devices and making of bomb and suicide vest.

10 Taliban rebels killed in Helmand

Lashkarga (BNA) 10 Taliban rebels were killed in an operation of Afghan forces in Helmand province yesterdays.  The operation carried out on three hideouts of Taliban in parts of Naharsaraj district, 4 Taliban were arrested and five others wounded in the operation.  Medias office of Helmand confirmed killing of the 10 Taliban and said the Taliban handed in recent insecure in parts of the mentioned district.  During the operation, 4 Taliban were arrested and 5 others wounded.  Reports say that three hideouts of Taliban were destroy in the operation.  It is being said the Afghan forces seized tens of weapons and hundreds kg of drugs.
