Asadabad (BNA) Mullah Mahjor senor commander of armed Taliban was killed in a military operation in Kunar province last night.  This commander targeted by Afghan and NATO forces in his hideout in the outskirts of Nari district and lost his lives.  BNA quoting from NATO press statement, Mullah Mahjor was killed with one of his colleagues while terrorist attacks.  According to NATO, this commander had committed most terrorist attacks in different parts of that province.  It is being said , this commander also had committed  responsibility of providing arms and financial facilities for Taliban fighters.

Kabul (BNA)   Five civilians were lost their lives  and at least 16 others were wounded in a traffic accident in Ghazni province yesterday.  Mohammadullah Ahamdi traffic head of Ghazni said to BNA, a truck car struck with a 303 bus in company Kohna area of Moqor district.  He added that the victims of this event were three women and two men, and women and children were injured in this event which they were shifted to civil hospital of Ghazni province.  According to Ahmadi the driver of the truck car fled from the area and police try to arrest him.

2 NAS martyred in roadside mine in Laghman

Metarlam (BNA) two National Army Soldiers were martyred and three others were wounded in roadside mine in the Badpokh area, of Laghman province yesterday.  Sarhadi Zawak spokesman for Laghman governor said to BNA, this event occurred when a vehicle of national army soldiers struck with a planted mine.  According to the source, the injured were shifted to civil hospital of Laghman province and the medical in charges of Hospital called the health conditions of the injured soldiers satisfactory.

Sheberghan (BNA) an armed Talib was killed in clash by security forces in Jouzjan province.  Faqir Mohammad Jouzjani deputy governor of Jouzjan said to BNA, this clash occurred in the Charjoft village, of Sheberghan center of Jouzjan province, in which a Talib was killed and three others with two national security police were wounded.  Deputy Governor of that province added that searching operation continues by national security forces and national army police in the area.

Taliban senior commander killed in Badakhshan

Faizabad (BNA) a clash occurred between police and armed Taliban in Khoshk village, Yamgan district of Badaskhshan province, a senior commander of Taliban was killed.  Colonel Sakhidad Haidari police chief of Badakhshan said to BNA, Qari Hafizullah senior commander of Taliban was killed when he wanted to attack on Yamgan district but before attack he faced with ambush of security forces and killed.  In this clash, two other Taliban were wounded and several arms were seized by police.  T. 5 armed militants killed, 8 arrested

Kabul (BNA)  the national army personnel in several separate operations in the provinces of the country killed five armed militants, injured five and detained 8 others yesterday.  National defense ministry press office said to BNA, these operations conducted in the vicinities of Laghman, Maidan-Wardak and Paktia provinces in which five armed militants were killed, 5 wounded and 8 others of them were arrested.  T. Aibak (BNA) five civilians were martyred in a traffic accident in Samangan-Balkh highway.  Colonel Abdul Razaq head of Traffic events of Samangan said to BNA, this event occurred in the Shorqul area, Hazrat Sultan district of Samangan province when a corolla car struck with an oil tanker.  According to him, five passenger of the corolla car were martyred and one other injured.  He said the driver of the tanker was arrested and the case is under investigation by policy.  T. 1500 families receives foodstuffs in Logar

Pul-e-Alam (BNA) foodstuffs were assisted for 1500 displaced and returnees families in Logar province yesterday.   Engineer Noor Ahmad Salihi head of refugees and returnees of Logar said that this foodstuffs were distributed by United Nationan Organization (UNO) and cooperation of refugees and returnees dept. of that province.  The mentioned foodstuffs consist of wheat, ghee, salt, blanket and winter cloths.    These materials have been distributed for families which previously surveying by refuges and returnees dept. of that province.  T. 22 armed rebels killed

Kabul (BNA) the national army personnel in several separate operation killed 22 armed rebels and arrested 6 others.  According to national defense ministry press office, the national army personnel conducted special combined operation in the outskirts of Shorbak district of Kandahar province and killed 20 armed militants and detained 6 others.  A gun, 12 different types of arms, a sack of hashish and 2 tents were seized by these forces.  Also, in operation of national army forces in the vicinities of Marja district of Helmand province 2 armed militants were killed and in the Syeead karam district of Paktia province 2 sacks of hashish and a rocket bullet were seized by these forces.  According to another report, three national army personnel were wounded in the vicinities of Tanglam district of Kunar province and two others were wounded in the vicinities of Marja district of Helmand province.  T. Unknown men kill 4 civilians in Parwan

Kabul (BNA) four passengers of a corolla car were martyred by unknown men in Parwan province yesterday.  According to Shamshad 202 police zone press office, a corolla car was passing from direction of Parwan province to Sayad, was came under attack by unknown men in the Tokhchi area, Bagram district , in which 4 passengers of the car were martyred.
