Russia, India Support Afghanistan

Kabul (BNA) The leaders of Russia and India once again expressed their support to Afghanistan. 
Manmohan Singh the Prime Minister of India and Dimitry Medvedov President of the Russian Federative during their meeting in Moscow reiterated on continued support of their countries to Afghanistan. 
In the statement released after the meeting of the Russian and Indian leaders, they declared their support for stability of Afghanistan and free of terrorism and narcotics. 
The leaders of the two countries signed a strategic long-term treaty in defense, health and technology spheres in which mention was made about Afghanistan as well. 
The statement also supports the process of security forces and emphasis is made on equipping and further training of the Afghan security forces. 
The Prime Minister of India and the Russian President supported the efforts of the Afghan government for ensuring of peace and added that any types of talks with the opposition should take place under the leadership of Afghan government.
