Kunduz (BNA) Cash distributed to 47 recent flood affected families in Kunduz province yesterday.
Mohammad Karim Karimi natural disaster head of Kunduz told BNA correspondent, the aid distributed for 147 flood affected families in suburb of Kunduz and Khanabad district.
The cash assistance was provided by the Afghan Development Institution and the AXFAM Institute, and for each family distributed 19,000 Afghanis.
It should be noted that these institutions intend to distribute cash and food aid to a thousand families in the next nine months.

Road Graveling Work Kick Off in Daikundi

Neli (BNA) The gravelling work of more than 34 Km meters of road kick off in Daikundi province yesterday.
Sakina Ihsani spokesman for Daikundi governor told BNA correspondent, the road will be graveled from center of Pato district to center of Daikundi province from budget of public work ministry at the cost of 49 million Afghanis within 8 month.
At the inauguration of the road, the governor of Daikundi province and other officials were attended.

Taliban Attack Repelled in Badakhshan

Faizabad (BNA) Taliban attack repulsed on Keran and Manjan district, Badakhshan province last night.
Abdul Rahim Farhat governor of Keran and Manjan district told BNA local correspondent, a 200 member group of armed Taliban attacked on popular uprisings in four villages in the district which came up with the reaction of militaries.
There have been a lot of casualties on the Taliban in the attack, but the exact figures is still unclear.
200 residents of the area were displaced to Panjshir province and its neighboring villages as a result of the conflict.

Displaced Families Received Aids

Sheberghan (BNA) 90 displaced families received aids in Jawzjan province yesterday.
Abdul Malik Rostami head of repatriation and refugees of Jawzjan told BNA, the aids were distributed by repatriation and refugees office with collaboration of national and international institution for families who’s displaced due to recent insecurity from insecure areas to Sheberghan city.
The aids included, blanket, Tarpaulin, kitchen packages, gas balloon, bucket of water and cash 2000 Afghanis.
The distribution of assistance continues to displace families by that office.

Men Arrested on Charge of Drug Trafficking

Bazarak (BNA) Three men were arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking in Panjshir province today.
Colonel Gulistan Asem head of anti-narcotic drug of Panjshir province told BNA, the anti-narcotic police arrested three men with 800kgs of hashish from outskirt of Khanj district of that province.
The detainees using a corolla car wanted to smuggle the drug to Kabul city, said Asem.

Kabul (BNA) Cash and non-foodstuffs have been distributed to 90 displaced families in northern Jawzjan province today.
Abdul Malik Rustami head of refugees and repatriation department of Jawzjan told BNA reporter, the aids have been distributed to the families; those left their houses due to insecurity and relocated in Shaberghan city the provincial capital of the province.
The distribution assistances include blanket, tent, kitchen tools, gas balloon, water barrel and 2000 Afghanis, Rustami added.
Aids have been provided by internal and external charity organizations and distributed by refugees and repatriation department, Rustami concluded.

Aibak (BNA) Two people lost their lives due to irresponsible gunmen clashes in Samangan province last night.
According to BNA correspondent, the clashes took placed between two irresponsible gunmen in Aibak city, in which two persons including a young boy was martyred and another has been injured.
A number of citizens in Aibak city have expressed concern over the increase of unauthorized gunmen, saying that with increase of these individuals , armed robbery, murder and criminal offenses has increased in that province.
Mohammad Sediq Azizi press in charge of Samangan province said attempt have been started to arrest the irresponsible gunmen by security forces.

Taliban Militants Killed By Commando Forces

Ghazni (BNA) Thirteen armed Taliban were killed in Ghazni province during last two days
Mohammad Aref Noori spokesman for Ghazni governor told BNA, the operation was launched with support of air forces in outskirt of Moqor, Andar, Gelan and surrounding of Ghazni city, thirteen Taliban including Mawlavi Shinwari military deputy of them were killed.
In the events, 12 other Taliban insurgents have been wounded, numerous of heavy and light weapons and a vehicle have been destroyed in the operation, Noori added.

Asadabad (BNA) Eight armed oppositions were killed in recent clashes in east of the country last night.
The insurgents were targeted in Soki district, Kunar province while terrorist activities.
ANA senior commander in east of the country told BNA, eight insurgents were killed in the conflicts.
The insurgents were targeted by air and ground raids of security forces while destructive activities, he added.
